Nathan POV*

We were still on my bed. But we had shifted positions from sitting on the side to laying down. As he told me everything. I stayed quiet and listened. when he finished I didn't know what to say. "I'm sorry,"

"What do you mean?" he asked confused. "Well... sorry that happened to you," I said. "That couldn't have been easy."

He shook his head "It's fine it's a long time ago, I just thought I could forget it you know" He defended.

"Still it's not something you forget. It's just, damn I really don't know what to say" He let out a laugh "it's okay, you listened, that's enough"

We stayed quiet for a bit before I continued. "But still, you went through so much" He sighed.

"Yeah, and I did forget, for a while. And then he decides to show up. Asking to talk to me no less. almost like it never happened."

"But I think you should...." I answered He looked at me confused. "Talk to him I mean" I explained.

"What? why?" He sat up to look at me.

"I think it might be good. Some closure" I shrugged. He looked away for a second, thinking about it.

"I guess, maybe." he sighed. "I'll think about it"

We both stayed silent. I still didn't know what to say at this point. What he told me was pretty heavy, and I have no idea how to react. On one side I wanted to hug him and never let go. But I also felt angry and wanted to punch something.

"I'm sorry your birthday got ruined," I said. He looked up confused. "What no, it's fine. I had a lot of fun" he smiled. "Yeah?"

"Totally" he smiled. "Even though you had to relive such a painful part of your past?" I said carefully.

He looked down for a bit as I also sat up "As you said. That's the past." He forced a smile. "He's gone and I have you now. And I'm happy" he said looking up.

"Yeah?" I smirk "it seemed like you really liked him though," I said. He looked at me, pretending to be shocked before smirking. "What, are you jealous?"

"I-" he kept looking at me. I tried to look away. "maybe," I said quietly. He let out a laugh as he got closer.

"Well don't, you have nothing to worry about He smiled. "really, why is that," I said looking back at him.

He sighed "Because I already told you."

"We never did anything." He said with a small blush on his cheeks."No?" I smirk, leaning in closer. "No" he laughed.

"Good" I smirk. I leaned in closer and kissed him. I felt him smile and he kissed me back. I pushed him down onto the bed until I was hovering over him. I saw a faint blush on his face before I reconnected our lips.

He wrapped his arms around my shoulders as the kiss began to deepen. We broke apart eventually when breathing became necessary. We stared at each other I awkwardly laughed.

"How's that for a present?" I smirk looking down. He shook his head smiling. "That's all?" He smirked.

I looked at him in disbelieve, and he soon realized what he said. "What?" I laughed. He quickly pulled back his hands and covered his face. "Sorry, I didn't mean-" I stopped him as I pulled his hands away from his face, looking him in the eyes.

His face was bright red as he tried to look away. I kept staring at him, half amused and half-serious. "I'm sorry," he said again as he pulled his hands away completely.
