The time for the unofficial princess' birthday celebration had come, and the family could not be more thrilled.

This was Sofi's first birthday celebration ever, so they wanted to make it that more special.

They opposed royalty rules, and decided to have a private celebration instead of a public one since the little princess was still to be known by the public.

After all, she would get her crowning in a few days, where she would be annouced legally a princess, and that would obviously come with a big ball where people could finally see their princess and celebrate her, but until then.. her birthday would simply be a private celebration.

They decided the perfect place to have it was in their precious outdoor garden. Sofi spent a lot of time there, especially with her mom as she was the queen of the sun. The two would hang out regularly between the flowers and greenery.

Of course, they had to decorate. The decoration was partly hand-made, partly magic-made (there was some decorations the human hand would simply never do justice to). It was all very colorful and fun, but the overall theme, of course, was fairies.

So not only was everything surrounded magically fairy-like beautiful elements, they'd even made fairies from paper and placed them everywhere.

The real fairies, of course, strayed away from the party as they were scared little creatures, but they were still watching.

That wasn't all though. Calum's idea about the stars really stuck to Ross, so he placed starry elements everywhere as well, making it a little mix. There was a lot Sofi had to learn about them, as the princess of stars.

Nevertheless, her fake little wings were created, and added to the small dress she was already wearing.

That way, she was a fairy for a day.

Sofi didn't say much, but she did clap her hands excitingly when she saw the wings and squealed, which was enough to make Laura grin from ear to ear.

Speaking of the queen, though her situation wasn't ideal, she'd decided celebrating her little girl was more important than any of her troubles could ever be, so for that one day she'd throw it all away. She wouldn't care less about anyone that wasn't her, no matter the love.

Her baby's birthday was going to be perfect.

"Oh. Don't the two you look simply stunning?" Abigail grinned as she saw Laura holding Sofi in her arms in the garden, looking over people do the finishing touches to her little get-together.
