"Queen are you feeling okay? You look a bit flushed" Cheryl spoke to her softly as she approached the throne.

"Um, yeah" Laura nodded "I'm just- I'm a bit tired"

"Okay" she replied, nodding.

After all the dances had taken place she'd sat down on her throne and hadn't lifted a finger to do much of anything else.

Her heels were killing her feet and the atmosphere around her felt too noisy and stuffy, not letting her breathe.

She felt sick and tired, but she knew it was too soon to end this whole ball yet. They had exactly two more hours of celebration to go.

"Hey darling. They're all talking about how amazing you were in your dancing! Princess Lein wanted me to tell you she thought you looked marvelous tonight" Elenor grinned as she approached her granddaughter.

Laura looked up at her, simply giving her a nod.

Somebody take her to bed right now.

"You okay honey?" she questioned, now noticing her face.

"Yeah. Just ran out of energy I guess" Laura simply shrugged, a sigh following right after her sentence.

"Don't worry honey we'll be over soon" Elenor smiled at her "In the mean time, your eye catch a certain gentleman? Maybe someone you danced with?"

She was looking at Laura with such hope in her eyes, and Laura just felt tired.

She thought hard to the men she danced with, and with that her headache got a bit stronger.

"Uhum" Laura furrowed her eyebrows, resting her head in one of her hands beacuse of the banging pain "I- I don't nan. I just-"

"Hey it's okay" Elenor nodded back at her "We shall speak all about it in the morning! Get some fresh air my dear"

"That'd probably be a good idea" Laura sighted, getting up from her throne as she headed for the huge balcony doors.

Everywhere she walked people cleared her way.

Well, there was one exception of course.

Like the little girl that accidentally bumped right into her big dress, falling to the floor.

Someone else followed after, screaming after her.

"Anna! I told you not to run too fast" Ross spoke up as he approached the scene, and his eyebrows raised.

Laura was smiling, as she helped his Anna get back on her feet "There you go. Be more careful next time"

When she looked up she saw Ross, and their eyes glued to each other for a few seconds as they always seemed to do.

"Sowy" Anna immediately apologized out of fear as she looked up at Laura, and Laura blinked back to reality as she looked down at Anna.

The little girl might've gotten a bit spooked being in the whole carriage ride with her uncle that kept saying how mean the queen was.

Laura on the other hand, as she looked down at the girl with the ginger hair, all she could think about was how adorable she was.

"It's alright princess. Now go back to your-"

"Uncle" Ross spoke up, filling in her sentence.

Laura nodded then, giving him a polite smile as she saw the little girl run back to his arms.

She looked around to see basically everyone was staring at her, as usual, so she walked away and got to her balcony.

Ross on the other hand, had a giggling Anna in his arms as he walked back to his family.
