At the sound of  screaming his eyelids pop open, and he's confused about his surroundings at first, but then he remembers that he wasn't in Madelvia.

No, this was Charlotte.

He hears screaming again and he's frightened. His eyebrows furrow as he quickly gets up from his bed, half asleep and loopy on his legs he quickly gets out of his room, and notices Elenor as well as Abbey have come out of their rooms too.

He opens Laura's room as the screaming was definitely hers.

Thinking she's in danger he has his  powers ready on this hands and as he  walks inside the room the blue light shines in the darkness.

He doesn't notice anything dangerous willing to harm her, and Laura's still in bed, sweat dripping from her forehead as she twitches.

A nightmare.

"Wake up!" he demands, sitting at the side of her bed and turning off his powers so he can shake her awake.

He notices everyone enter the room and Elenor sits on the other side of the bed as Abbey's green colored powers light up the room.

Finally Laura's eyes pop open and they're widen, scared. Distress written all over her face.

"Hey hey don't worry. It was a dream" Ross whisperes with a soothing voice, hands still at her sides.

She looks up at him, blinking as she tries to normalize her heavy breathing.

"Love are you okay?" Elenor questions, worried as she looks at her granddaughter.

"Uh.." she looks at her, now making herself sit up as Ross leans back a little to give her space "I- yeah I'm okay"

"What did you see? What caused you so much distress?" Abbey asked curiously, eyebrows furrowed as her palms glow.

"Nothing just-" she breathes in "Just some demon shadow type of thing. He had red eyes and he was coming after me and-"

"I've seen that too" Ross speaks up, and she turns her attention to him again, eyebrows furrowed.

"What?" she almost whisperes.

He gives her a small smile and wipes the tear that was still on her cheek away, sort of surprising her with his actions, before he speaks up "I've seen countless nightmares like that, of someone coming after me,threatening about events in the future, saying scary things"

"Yeah" she nods, gulping a bit "I've been having those for a while now too"

"This is weird. Has anyone else seen a nightmare of this form?" Elenor asks, looking around the room at all the people gathered in worry about the queen's state.

They all shook their heads, and Ross and Laura looked at each other confused as to why they were the only ones.

"Let me show you something" Ross cleared his throat, getting up from Laura's bed.

She furrowed her eyebrows "What?"

"Come find out" he gave her his hand to take.

Laura furrowed her eyes, looking back at her grandmother for reassurance.

When she nodded and smiled at her, Laura clasped her hand in his and Ross easily lifted her off the bed.

"Oh no you're going to get cold like that" Abigail spoke up, looking at her friend who was only in her thin night gown and knowing she'd been sweating just a few minutes before.
