"And now, let's welcome the queen itself with a warm round of applause!" her entrance was announced loudly.

Ross stayed put, not moving a muscle.

He still had to converse with any of the other royals in the ballroom, while his mom on the other hand had done so since they came in.

Gavin was the only one keeping him company as the two stayed side by side, as well as Calum, but with his daughter in his arms he was way more worried about stopping her from stealing any of the sweets in the banquette, as it was not the time for them yet.

"Drink up pretty boy. You'll need it" Gavin whispered in his ear, sliding a glass of champagne in his hand.

He didn't have time to speak to him before the crowd erupted with cheers, and as Ross looked up from the glass in his hand, he noticed she was already walking down the stairs.

And he was stiff in place as he saw her, not believing his eyes at what he was seeing.

She looked... astonishing.

She looked like the woman he'd always dreamed of. No, she was a walking day dream.

Her gown was big, bigger than the light one she'd worn the day they'd met, and it looked like part of it were made out of real gold, and real feathers. Her hair this time were put up in a stylish updo as curly strands of them framed her face in the front with her tiara in her head.

Her lips looked bloddy red, even though she'd worn light weighted make up, and she walked down the stairs gracefully weaving at all the people that had arrived here today just for her

Her lips looked bloddy red, even though she'd worn light weighted make up, and she walked down the stairs gracefully weaving at all the people that had arrived here today just for her.

She didn't seem to notice Ross at all in the crowd as she made her way to her throne, and sat down slowly.

It left him amazed. Not many queens at this time they were living in were like this, without a spouse in their hand to guide them down the stairs or someone to sit next to the throne with, but she'd won the fight, and she was crowned queen before she could even think about marriage.

She was alone, yet she didn't seem like she was. Her aura dominated the place where she knew she had the power, and she seemed to know perfectly what that power was, so why would she organize something like this if she didn't need anyone there with her?

You'd often see a king act like this, but she'd kicked that wall down, and for some reason, Ross was all kinds of attracted to that.

He couldn't deny her aura and her power, and as he insulted her back at his place it was almost like he'd forgotten what she looked like as the weeks passed by.

But damn, did he get a nice look of her this time. A big reminder that she was, in fact, stunning.

And no matter how much he hated or loved her attitude, he couldn't pretend she didn't look beautiful.
