"Oh thank you for holding me honey- all that walking truly must've made me tired" Laura sighted as she slipped right off of Ross's arms- a glued smile to her face as her feet touched the inside of her palace.

She was looking around at the walls of the castle when Ross spoke up.

"You sure you don't have some kind of secret I should know?" his eyebrows raised a little.

"Secret?" she chuckled, lookin back at him "No! No. You know I tell you everything"

"Well yeah" he murmured "Such powerful sorceress would not get tired as fast as a walk" he leaned into her, now touching her belly with his big hand.

Her eyes widen.

"Ross" she gritted her teeth.

"Yes love?" he grinned "Anything at all I should know?"

"You're being ridiculous" she weaved him off, moving away and letting his hand drop.

His eyebrows furrowed at that.

Was it not pregnancy?

At the sight of her throne, Laura smiled again, slowly walking over to it, and taking her rightful seat next to the other throne that was meant for Ross.

Her hands explored the wood-made, shiny gold carved, soft-cushioned miracle like they hadn't no other day. She was noticing all it's beauty that day.

"Ah yes, my favorite place in the castle" she sighted, leaning into the throne.

"I thought your favorite place was the garden" Ross spoke up, making her lift her head up again to look at him "We don't spend much of our time sitting down inside"

"Yeah, absolutely" she rolled her eyes "I love the garden, but this is my second favorite alright?"

"Alright" Ross chuckled, taking a place on his throne, and then looking at her "Shall we go check up on Sof? The hour when she wakes up from her nap is nearing"

"Why not" she pressed a smile "Let's see what the little one is up to"

And so the duo made their way down the hall, right up until they were in front of their daughter's room.

Ross opened the door for Laura, and just how he predicted- the little girl's eyes were wide open- though she wasn't crying, just looking around in wonder as she always did.

"There's my favorite girl" Ross murmured as he lifted her up, excitment filled her eyes at the sight of Ross as she started clapping her hands, immediately hugging his neck.

"Papa" she squeezed his neck into a hug.

"Hi gorgeous" Ross grinned, kissing her soft cheek, heart fully warmed by the little one's reaction, as it always was.

"Hey there. Mommy's here too" he had to remind her to let go, and she did, looking at him.

Ross pointed at Laura who was standing off to the side- which was very much unlike her.

"There she is" he smiled at his daughter "Mommy"

"Mama?" the little one questioned, still not making a move to reach out for her arms.

"Yep. There you are baby" he spoke up, pulling his toddler from his arms to hand her to Laura.

"Hey there babe" Laura smiled at the little thing.

A smile Ross hadn't really ever seen on her face. The kind of smile that didn't feel.. positive, but much more sinister.

Perhaps he was going crazy?
