He was so close to touching her lips he could practically feel them trembling, when a cold breeze washed over him, and he noticed something black at the side of his eye.

His attention immediately shifted as he looked up once again, confused to see nothing around them.

"What the hell was that?" he heard Laura question and he looked down at her as he furrowed his eyebrows "No clue"

Then he sighted as he got to his feet, and offered her a hand to get up.

She accepted it as she now stood beside him and she looked up at him.

His mind was swirling with emotions. Does he say anything? Does he just walk away? Maybe he could ignore it and start off a different conversation?

She easily resolved his little inside freak out when she spoke up instead "I wouldn't have kissed you, by the way"

She gave him a smile before starting to walk away from him, and he grinned as he kept up with her "I don't believe that in the slightest"

"I haven't kissed or received attention from a man in a long time okay? So if anything like that ever happens ignore it" she spoke up, now sighting.

"I'm still convinced you love me but okay" he shrugged "And I too can admit to the same thing. It was just the heat of it and I got carried away"

"Alright" she nodded, accepting his explanation "Though I do find it weird that you won't take all the attention you get. The ladies drop at your feet everywhere you go"

"I mean I guess I do accept the occasional attention" he shrugs "But I'm not the type of guy that'd take all of it. I wouldn't personally get myself too involved with those type of women"

"What exactly is your type of woman?" she crossed her arms, now stopping in place as she looked up at him curiously.

He thought about it for a bit, scanning every feature on her face before responding "I don't really know. Someone genuine I guess?"

"Ah, that's a rare one" she pointed out, and then started to walk towards the castle once again.

"Trust me, I know" Ross chuckled as he shook his head, following closely behind once again.

When they actually got inside the castle Aden's eyes widened at the mess she was seeing.

They were both wet and covered in mud. They both looked like they'd came out of an earthquake.

"What in the bloddy moon happened?!" she screeched as she saw the two stop in front of her.

"Look at all that mud and dirt you just brought into the castle! Did the two of you come out of a mud fight?" she glared.

Laura was about to speak up when Gavin, who was sitting right behind Aden spoke up "I believe it was going somewhere else actually"

"Huh?" Aden asked, now looking back at him "How would you know?"

"This place's got lots of windows, and a particular one just happened to face the cherry trees" he chuckled, sending Ross a teasing smile.

"Oh shit I'm never living this down" Ross groaned at his look as Gavin started laughing.

"What? What happened?" Aden questioned, looking back and forth between the boys.

"It was nothing important mother Aden. We were just messing around" Laura spoke up, clearing her throat as she set the basket full of cherries down on the table "I'll be taking a bath if you excuse me"
