WITH the infamous Lady Killer off the streets, life had soon returned to normal. At least normal for Capeside. And as of the day before, that now meant life without Mr. Ryan. However, whilst Jen and her Grandmother mourned their great loss, Joey had some good news. Big news. She'd been offered a semester abroad in France, all she had to do was say yes. Although, what should've been an easy decision was complicated by Dawson finally realising what was right in front of him the whole time.
"He kissed me, Heather, he actually kissed me." Joey gushed as she lay back on the girls bed while she swiped a coat of nude lipstick across her lips.
Heather eyed her best friend in the reflection of her mirror "And? How was it?"
"It was hot." She grinned as she sat upright "Extremely hot."
"Well, cool it down a minute, huh?" Heather sighed as she turned to face the girl "So what's next? Does this kill France?"
Joey shrugged "We haven't talked about it."
"There's no 'we' here, Joey." Heather retorted as she stood, grabbing her bag "It's your decision and yours alone."
The Potter girl sighed, eyebrow's furrowing as she watched Heather reach into her closet for a jacket, catching sight of the girls art material's shoved inside and glanced over to see what was once her art station now laid bare "What happened?"
Heather paused and turned to her in confusion before following her eye-line and shrugging with a short sigh "Lost inspiration, I guess. I mean, between cheerleading and working on the school's planning committee— I should really be focusing on my studies anyway."
"But—"
"Sorry. I've really gotta get going, Jo." Heather interrupted the girl as she slipped her jacket on.
"Why?" Joey frowned as she stood "School doesn't start for another hour."
Heather sighed as she led the girl out of her room "Principal Siever asked me to show some new kids around."
Joey smirked "Ah, they're own personal pep squad tour guide, how lucky for them."

HEATHER was moderately surprised when she met the new arrivals in town, finding out the McPhee siblings hailed from Rhode Island and now resided in Windsor, Capeside's own Country Club suburb. The Leery girl smiled as she glanced between the pair, leading them through the school hallways "Are you guys twin's, too?"
