90210 ...🛶...
IT had been four weeks since the death of Abby Morgan. Four weeks with the halls of Capeside being a little duller, quieter, peaceful. Four weeks since Gail had been offered the promotion of a lifetime. And four weeks since Mrs. Ryan had kicked Jen out of her house.
Heather and her new roommate lounged against Dawson's headboard, snacking on the almost empty bowl of popcorn between them as the Leery boy himself snuggled up with Joey on the floor by the foot of the bed whilst Pacey stretched out across the comforter at the girls feet. Jack and Andie however had a seat each by the side of the bed. Movie nights at the Leery's had officially expanded.
"Okay, movie break." Dawson switched the tv off before turning to look at his guests "Is anybody else struck by the humour of this moment, that we're all in the same room at the same time?"
"Yeah, it is bizarre." Jack admitted with a chuckle.
"The last time that happened Abby was making a tell-all mystery." Heather snickered as everyone joined in before she shared a little smile with Andie. It was almost like the death of Abby had brought everyone closer together and Heather couldn't say she minded. It was nice not be fighting with the McPhee girl.
Pacey's eyebrow's furrowed "Are we a clique?"
"Ugh." "Oof."
"Pass." Heather shook her head "What is this? 90210?"
Dawson shook his head as the girls sans Andie rejected the notion "Hang on, I invited Pacey over, that hardly qualifies as a group hangout."
Heather shrugged "And I invited Jack."
"I invited Andie." The McPhee boy added.
Joey looked to the Leery boy teasingly "I hope I don't require an invitation."
"And I live here now." Jen shrugged, tossing a piece of popcorn into her mouth.
"Let's face it, guys." Pacey shrugged before raising his forefinger and thumb an inch apart "We are this far away from the Peach Pit."
Heather smiled innocently as she shrugged "I'm sorry boys but none of you are nearly handsome enough to be Dylan McKay."
"Excuse me?" Pacey scrambled to sit up, looking to the girl was a scoff "Dark hair, deep soulful brown eyes filled deep with familial pain and a yearning for love?"
"You're right." Heather agreed making him smile smugly "You're Nat."
The group laughed as Pacey scoffed, holding a hand to his chest "You wound me, Leery. I'm wounded."
