WWJSD: WHAT WOULD JIMMY STEWART DO?"

...🛶...

LIFE since kissing Andie hadn't changed much for Heather, not with no one but Pacey even aware of the girls newfound and confusing feelings. It was all new for Heather, crushing on a girl, kissing her, but despite the nervousness it brought, she couldn't help but enjoy the flutter in her stomach every time Andie looked at her.

The pair had shared stolen glances in class, kisses in the girls room, and even strolled through town with their pinky fingers locked together. But they weren't ready to go public, not until they understood what and who they were.

Dawson had since apologised profusely to his sister, admitting that he'd take his heartbreak with Joey out on her, projecting his emotions into her situation. And despite loving her brother, Heather couldn't bring herself to tell him about Andie, about her feelings because she was scared how he would react. How everyone would react. He didn't watch movies where the girl got the girl and she wasn't sure he would know how to handle it.

So, with Joey out of the picture and Andie stuck at home with her mother, movie night was just Heather, Pacey and Dawson. While Heather missed her best friend's presence, she was fully utilising Joey's usual spot on her brothers bed as Pacey kicked his feet up on the Leery boy's desk, relaxing back in the chair with a slice of pizza in hand "Mind if I have these extra pepperonis?"

"Shh!" Dawson scolded his friend, tearing his eyes away from the tv "Yes, for the tenth time."

Pacey smiled as he picked them up before looking to Heather "Could you pass me the crushed pepper?"

Heather did so while Dawson groaned "Pacey, you're driving me crazy."

"I'm a hungry person." He defended with a shrug.

Heather smirked "You're an annoying person."

Pacey gave her a sarcastic laugh "I'm a bored person. I mean, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Dawson? C'mon! It's in black and white!"

"It's a Frank Cappra classic." Dawson defended his movie choice but Heather had to agree with the Witter boy. It was a snooze fest.

"There's a bunch of dead people in it. Everyone in this movie is decomposing somewhere. It's morbid." Pacey deadpanned "You know, we got this whole section at the movie store called 'New Releases'. You should check it out."

Dawson sighed "Pacey, this is a timeless tale about a man faced with his heroic nature."

"You know, I can't really connect with the wholesome and morally grounded." Pacey admitted "That's more the Leery family's style. It's who you guys are."
