WHAT THE FRICKE?

MOVIE night had been relocated to the Potter house on account of the B&B officially being opened. Joey sighed as she returned from the kitchen with a bowl of popcorn, eyeing the movie on screen "Who are these people? I mean, they're dancing. Nobody dances in the kitchen."
"Maybe our parents danced in the kitchen." Dawson mused from the couch "My parents loved this movie. This is like the definitive movie of the entire baby boomer generation."
"Well, they're not dancing anymore." Heather mumbled, grabbing a handful of popcorn before Pacey could swipe the bowl away.
Joey looked to the Witter boy "Do your parents dance in the kitchen?"
"My parents?" He scoffed "No, they definitely don't dance in the kitchen."
"Why did you pick this, Dawson?" Heather groaned, tossing a piece of popcorn at his head.
He shrugged "I took all the movie posters off my wall and everything's in question. I figured why not something unexpected for movie night?"
"Oh, so we're scaling new heights of mount lame?" Joey taunted.
Dawson sighed "Sorry Joey, tonights activities were meant to calm your nerves, not agitate them."
"Well, that's impossible." Joey shot back "I mean this bed and breakfast has been open for a day— a very costly bed and breakfast kind you— and there are no guests. Have any of you checked the reservations list? There's not a name to be found, not a one."
"It takes time to establish a reputation." Dawson tried to reassure.
Joey frowned "Dawson, Bessie and I have invested every dime we have. Along with guests, time is another thing we don't have."
The phone suddenly let out a ring and Joey perked up before taking a deep breath and answering "Potter Bed and Breakfast, can I help—? Actually I'm perfectly content with my long distance service, thank you."
"Come on, Jo." Heather frowned at her dejected expression as she hung up the phone "Keep the faith."
"Is that all you have to say?" Joey turned to her in disbelief "Considering that you were the primary force that escorted Bessie and I down the road to economic ruin?"
Heather's eyes widened "All I did was get you some free labor."
"You Heather Leery single handedly encouraged this pipe dream." Joey accused "I mean you should know better than to go around inspiring finically and spiritually bereft people. People who have no business being inspired."
