MOVIE night consisted of a horror marathon and the Leery twins couldn't be happier as they watched Sarah Michelle Gellar run across the screen away from the hook wielding fisherman. But their best friends however were hating every second of it. Dawson let out a laugh as Joey's head cowered into his shoulder "You are such a wuss."
Heather snorted as she looked to Pacey who had done the same to her "I've got one of my own, here."
"You rat." Joey scoffed as she snatched the remote and switched the television over to the news "That's it, it's over."
"Oh no." Pacey pretended to upset about it "Don't turn it off, ah, Joey, you suck. Boo."
"That movies sucks." Joey grumbled.
Dawson scoffed "Don't you dare. I Know What You Did Last Summer rules."
"Can't say the same for the sequels." Heather mused.
"You know, I don't like watching these stupid horror movies that are loaded with cheese whiz, okay?" Joey rebuffed.
Heather sent her a teasing grin "Just because you're scared of the cheese."
"Forgive me, Roger Ebart but I figured in honour of Friday the 13th tomorrow, a little horror marathon was mandatory." Dawson shrugged at the brunette.
Joey rolled her eyes "It's tired, Dawson, just like these movies."
"I'm tired." Pacey admitted, leaning back against Dawson's bed.
"You have this fascination for scaring people." Joey accused the Leery boy.
Heather nodded "In particular me."
"I love the adrenaline rush." Dawson defended "Besides, horror films provide positive examples of ordinary people overcoming their worst fears and conquering evil."
"Save it for film class, Dawson." Joey sighed "I mean, these movies are unnecessarily violent and exploitive and completely pointless to society."
Heather clicked her tongue "I don't know Jo, I mean from those pointless movies I've learned not to call out to possible murderous intruders and just run for the hills."
"Whoa, check it out." Pacey suddenly nudged the Leery girl "Turn it up."
The four watched as the news anchor spoke into the camera "Authorities fear the Lady Killer has struck again. The body of 18 year old, Amanda Ferris was found in Boston this morning, believed to be now the fifth victim of the serial killer that's been terrorising the eastern seaboard."
