Abigail's POV

His words sliced through me like a knife to the heart. I was trying so hard not to cry, I wouldn't allow myself to seem weak in front of Niall. I knew that if he didn't follow management's orders, he would get into serious trouble. So, I kept a neutral expression on my face and my gaze was focused on the floor.

I was too distracted to notice he was speaking, "What?"

"I asked you if you were ok." he repeated

"Yeah, I'm fine." I said, not looking at him and then giving him a sad smile.

"Abby, I'm so sorry. I didn't want to, this was management's decision. I wish I could do something, but I could lose my job and-" Niall spoke frantically.

"Niall, it's ok. Don't worry about me, I don't want you being kicked out of the band."

Silence filled the room.

"So, this is the end for us?" he asked, even though he already knew the answer.

I nodded and slowly walked to where he was standing. Standing on my toes, I gave him one last kiss, savoring every second of it. When I pulled away I looked into his eyes and said, "Goodbye Niall."

After walking out of his room I finally made my way to my room. I closed the door before I dropped down to the floor and began to cry softly, until my eyes gave out and I drifted off to sleep.

**

The next morning I avoided Niall. I tried not to get stuck alone in the same room with him, but whenever we were alone, I came up with a lousy excuse to leave. I felt a little guilty, but my heart couldn't take anymore pain.

Most of my day was spent in my room listening to music and playing my guitar. That is, until Harry walked in.

"Didn't anybody ever tell you to knock?" his cheeks flushed, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to snap at you. Did you need anything?"

"Yeah, could you come to the living room? There's some people I want you to meet."

"Sure."

**

Standing in the living room were two women. Judging by their appearance, they seemed to be related to Harry.

"Abigail, I want you to meet my mum Anne, and my sister Gemma." said Harry.

"Hi, nice to meet you." I said, walking up to Harry's mum to shake her hand. She surprised me when she set my hand aside and gave me a hug, I awkwardly hugged her back. After hugging Gemma as well, Harry spoke again.

"The reason I wanted you to meet them is because we have something very important to tell you."
