Abigail's POV

In the morning, after Niall and I had woken up from our slumber, the doctor came in to check on him.

"Everything looks fine, I think you'll be able to go home today, we just need you to sign some papers and then you can leave, ok?" the doctor explained.

Niall nodded, "Ok, thanks Doc." the doctor smiled before leaving the room.

"Finally! I didn't think I could last another day in there! I hate hospital food!" Niall exaggerated as soon as we walked out of the hospital. I laughed as he dramatically put a hand over his face.

We met Harry at the parking lot and we all drove back to my house.

We arrived to a welcome home party. It wasn't big but everyone was there, so it was perfect. There was a variety of foods, including cake. Music was playing and everyone was having a great time. A couple hours into the party, Liam received a call. His face altered from a smile to a frown. After he hung up he gathered everyone's attention.

"I just got a call from management. They said we have to leave tonight because we have to return to the tour." he said

Everyone frowned at the news. I knew they were going to leave eventually, but I was hoping it would be later. Just like that, the party ended and everyone pitched in to help clean.

Again, I found myself at the airport saying goodbye. And let me tell you, it wasn't any better than the last time. Many tears were shed. I stayed by Niall's side the whole time except for when I said goodbye to the other lads.
When it came to saying goodbye to Niall, it was very difficult to let him go.

"Don't get into any trouble while I'm gone." Niall warned me.

"And you be careful with your shoulder, it's still not completely healed." I advised.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine."

"I'm going to miss you Niall." I hugged him tightly.

"I'm going to miss you too." he replied. His flight started boarding, we shared one last kiss before going our separate ways.

Days passed by and my birthday was tomorrow. The boys had arranged for me to go to one of their concerts. There is no doubt I said yes, I wouldn't miss a chance to see them. Emma and Megan were tagging along as well. Right now I was packing for the trip. I opened my closet to retrieve my favorite  jacket when a certain little box caught my eye. I reached my arm to grasp the box from the shelf. I read the small tag attached to it.
