September 1st came around quicker than anyone expected. It felt like I had just got my Hogwarts acceptance letter and now we were waiting at Kings Cross Station for Tony and Cassy to arrive. Dad was pushing a trolley that held all my luggage which contained everything I needed for the school year. I was carrying Freya in a pink shoulder strapped cat carrier and had my Star Wars X-wing back pack that held my wand along with my laptop and phone which were now running on arc reactor technology so I didn't have to worry about charging them.

Authors note: This is the backpack, if anyone is interested. Just imagine its big enough to hold a laptop.

"Elsa! Is that you?" I heard someone call out, when I turned in the direction of the voice, I saw Cedric waving at me.

"Cedric! Hi!" I called out, jumping up and down so he could see me.

Oooh, it's pretty boy Diggory, Danny laughed through our bond.

I quickly elbowed him to be quiet as Cedric ran over to meet up with us. I couldn't help but notice Mum smiling as she watched Cedric make his way over to us, then looking down at me as if to say I know you think he's cute. I sent her a look telling her not to say anything.

"How are you, Cedric?" I asked as I hugged him. It was strange, I felt like I had known him my whole life.

"I'm good. How about you? Ready to go to Hogwarts?" he asked, reaching down to hug me because he was so much taller than me.

"I'm so ready to go to Hogwarts!"

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a little boy nervously walk over to my dad. He was about 4 or 5 and was holding a mini–Captain America shield. Cedric noticed me watching something and looked over at my dad who had just noticed the little boy as well.

"Excuse me sir, but are you Captain America," he asked with a slight lisp and an American accent.

"Yes, I am. And what is your name?" Dad asked, kneeling down on the ground to talk to the little boy.

"I'm Stevie"

"Can I tell you a secret, Stevie. My name is Steve as well."

I smiled as I watched my dad talk to the little boy. This was the side of the Avengers that people never got to see, the daily interactions they had with people. There was nothing Dad loved more than talking to the little kids who recognised him as Captain America. Mum really didn't get recognised as much because after the battle of New York, she only stepped in when she was really needed. Which was only once in all the years since New York.
