I woke up feeling completely disorientated about where I was but when I felt Cedric's arm around my waist as he pulled me closer to him, everything hit me. Umbridge, Maggie, and coming up to the Astronomy Tower to calm Cedric down. When the feeling of the morning sun rising hit my face, I realised that we must have fallen asleep in the tower. Panicked, I pulled my phone out of my pocket to make sure that we hadn't overslept and missed classes. When I saw that it was only 5:30 in the morning I relaxed a little knowing that we had time to get back down to the dorms and get ready for the first day of the school year.

"Hey, Ced, wake up," I said quietly as I slipped my arms around his neck and kissed him softly to wake him up.

"Morning, Elsa," he said in a groggy voice that sounded like he was still half asleep. "What time is it? We haven't missed class, have we?"

"Don't worry, it's only 5:30. So we have time to get back down to the dorms before anyone notices that we are missing. But more importantly, how are you feeling?"

"Okay," Cedric said unconvincingly. "But I guess I'm just going to have to get used to things like last night happen. I just feel so sorry for Harry because he's going to have it a hundred times worse than I am."

"Let's just hope that Dumbledore puts a stop to all of it before the rumors get out of hand. But if they do, Cassy and me will take care of it," I told him. "It won't be the first time we have had to deal with stupid rumors and sadly, I don't think it will be the last."

"I'm sure Dumbledore will do something. Now, come on," Cedric said as she stood up and helped me to my feet. "Let's get back to the dorms before anyone notices us missing or worse, Filch finds us up hear."
