Third POV
It was the end of the day and an unassuming woman named Renata was just finishing cleaning her employer's home. It wasn't a glamorous job but it paid well so she could help provide for her family. She had just grabbed her bag as she was about to leave for the day when she saw the man who had employed her go to the kitchen to get a drink. But what she didn't notice was the man sitting at the kitchen table with his gun in front of him, the man who was credited with over two dozen successful assassinations in the last 50 years. A man who could kill her in a second if he was give the order.
"I'm going to go, Mr. Pierce. You need anything before I leave?"
"No. Uh... it's fine, Renata, you can go home," Pierce said noticing the man sitting at his kitchen table.
"Okay, night night," Renata called out as she left the house.
"Good night," Pierce called out waiting for the woman to leave before he spoke to the man.
When he heard the sound of the door shutting, he breathed a sigh of relief. He honestly liked the woman and he didn't want have to end her employment on a more... permanent bases.
"Want some milk," Pierce asked the man but he didn't speak a word. "The time table has moved. Our window is limited. Three targets, Level six. They already cost me Zola. I want confirmed death in ten hours."
Unfortunately for Renata, she has left her phone in the kitchen and chose the wrong moment to come back to get it.
"Sorry, Mr. Pierce, I... I forgot my phone," she said as she was the man sitting at the table with her employer.
"Oh, Renata," Pierce said, picking up the gun on the table and pointing it at the terrified woman. "I wish you would have knocked."
Pulling the trigger, Alexander Pierce ended the life of the innocent woman who only ever wanted to do was support her family.
