When we got back to the tent, I was more than ready to go to sleep

When we got back to the tent, I was more than ready to go to sleep. I had been up since 2 am and it had been a long day. So, I was more than happy to curl up under the blanket and go sleep. But apparently the Nornir really had it in for me and I woke up only a few hours after I had fallen asleep when the tent started to fill with smoke. The Avenger in me kick in into overdrive and I jumped out of bed, thanking Odin that I had fallen asleep fully dressed, and pulled my shoes on as quickly as I could, preparing for whatever fight might be ahead.

"Danny! Get up! Something is going on!" I said as I shook my cousin awake.

"Elsa, what's wrong?" Danny asked me in a groggy voice.

"I don't know. Just get up, get dressed and get ready to go," I told him before grabbing my backpack and running into the main area of the tent.

I ended up running straight into Cedric who was on his way to get me and Danny. Behind him, I could see Mr. Diggory getting his things together in a hurry. Outside the tent the sound of screams filled the night air. Whatever was going on outside wasn't good.

"What's going on?" I asked Cedric who had an extremely worried look on his face.

"I don't know. Dad just shook me awake and told me to get you guys up as well," Cedric said as Danny walked up behind me.

"I don't have time to explain what is happening. But I need the three of you to go into the forest where were the portkey was and wait for me there. Hopefully you will be able to find the Weasley's and you can wait together. I'm going to find Arthur and see what I can do to help," Mr. Diggory told us in a hurry before he ran out of the tent.

Without even thinking I took my bracelet off my wrist and changed its form. But this time instead of turning it back into the cosmic staff, I turned it into my own version of Dad's shield and slid it on to my arm. The Asgardian magic in the shield would repeal any spell that was sent out way.

"What's that for?" Danny asked, nodding at my shield.

"I don't know. Call it a gut feeling," I told him as the three of us walked out of the tent.

Outside the once cheerful camping ground was now filled with fear. There was chaos everywhere you looked, tents were on fire, people were running in all directions as they tried to get away from what ever had caused everything.
