The day had finally arrived, the day that the Polyjuice potion. I just thanked Odin that I had been paired up with Zane to make to potion and not Cassy like poor Lee had. For the first time in her life, she hadn't finished her essay that needed to be handed in with the completion of the potion. Technically she had finished it but it wasn't up to the usual Stark standards and defiantly wasn't up to Snape's NEWT studies standards. I just hoped that at their potion was better than the essay was, otherwise there was going to be hell to pay we had to test it.

"I do hope that all of you have brought a hair of the person that you wish to turn into," Snape drawled as he stalked into the room without even greeting the class.

I pulled the single hair that Nat had given me over the Christmas break that I had kept in a zip lock bag on to me desk as I watched Cedric pull out an identical bag from where he was sitting in front of me with Hamish. Inside the bag that Cedric had was one of Clint's hairs, who thought it would hilarious to have two of the deadliest assassins walking around Hogwarts for a bit. Cassy wanted to join in on the Avengers doppelgänger fun and had sneaked a hair from Wanda's hair brush the night of the New Year's Eve party.

"Since it appears that all of you have managed to complete the simplest of tasks, I will check each of your potions to ensure they are up to standards before you add the hairs to it. I will also be collecting your essays at the same time. You may only drink your potions after I have collected all of your essays. I wish to watch all of you to ensure that no one has made a mistake, that way I can correct what has gone wrong before there are any...permanent effects," Professor Snape told us as he started to walk around the room checking the potion and collecting essays.

"So who's hair did you get?" I asked Zane as we waited for Snape to get to our potion.

"A friend of the families," he said with a small grin.

Authors note: Anyone want to guess who hair Zane has? Just remember where his is from and you will probably know straight away.

"You're not going to tell me who it is?"

"No, I want to see if you recognise who it is."

"Challenge accepted, Zimmerman," I laughed.

I started to get nervous as Snape got closer to our table and double checked that the potion looked like it was supposed to, which it did. But that still didn't ease my nerves, I was used to using Asgardian magic to change my appearance and I knew that nothing could go wrong when I did it. But with the potion there was a million things that could go wrong and as much as I loved Nat and no matter how beautiful she was, I really didn't want to spend the rest of my life looking at her. Even she said that there was a long list of people that wanted her dead and I really didn't want them coming after me by mistake.

"Diggory, McLaggen, everything seems to be in order with your potion," Snape said as he looked into the cauldron sitting on the table between Cedric and Hamish. "You may proceed to dispense it but wait to put the hair in."
