"Okay, tell me again why you can't be down in the lab supervising Tony's work with the scepter," I asked Loki as we sat on the official 'Rogers' level of the Avengers Tower, watching TV.
"Apparently I'm not 'trust worthy' enough to be allowed near the scepter. You try to take over the world once and no one lets you forget it," Loki said casually, like it was an everyday thing that you were mind controlled into attacking one of the biggest cities in the world.
"You would have thought that Tony would have let that go by now. I mean, you weren't in control of your actions and you have more than made up for what happened," I told him, making him smile.
"I fear that you are one of the only ones that have truly forgiven me for my actions," Loki said sadly.
"Hey! That's not true! There's Mum, Dad, Nat, Bruce, even Clint. We all believe in you and never forget that," I said, sitting up straighter and looking at him.
"You do not know idea much your words mean to me, snø prinsesse* You and the rest of our family are the only reason I stay on Midgard, Elsa," Loki told me with tears in his eyes before clearing his throat and changing the subject. "Now, tell me more about this witch you encounter in Sokovia."
"She couldn't be much older than me and her hands glowed red when she used her powers. Kind of like how your glow green or mine glow blue or gold depending on what type of magic I'm using," I said, even though my hands only glowed gold that one time.
"She clearly was not born a witch otherwise she would have been accepted into Hogwarts or even Durmstrang. Whatever Hydra did with that scepter gave her those powers. I am going to look into, possibly even get Albus' views on it. It will change how we view magic all together if people will be able to acquire magic in such a manner," Loki said sounding concerned.
"Let's just hope she is the only one."
