Harry's POV

As soon as they landed, Paul escorted them out of the airport and drove them to the meeting point with their families. Zayn wasn't with them at this point anymore. He had flown straight back to the US and Harry couldn't blame him. He missed his family as much as Zayn missed his. With the only difference that the black-haired was going to be a father and Harry was going to be with his mother.

"So, there we are ladies" Paul parked the car and they got out. He made his way to the back of the van and took out their suitcases. Harry couldn't wait to leave as he saw his mum.
"Here you go. I won't hold you back any longer, see you in January. Get the rest you deserve"
"You better get the rest you deserve Pauli" Niall teased with a grin on his face. He had bothered Paul the whole flight. The man looked at him annoyed but couldn't hide his grin as well.
"I'll sleep like a baby, Horan. Without someone throwing popcorn in my mouth"
"Well, it's your fault if you sleep with your mouth wide open!"

All of them started laughing. Nearly all of them. Louis seemed like he was in another world. Harry caught himself looking at the man again and looked away quickly. Gladly that he wouldn't have to hold himself back the next few weeks, probably never again, Harry said his goodbyes to everyone, hugged the girls, Niall and Liam before awkwardly standing opposite of Louis.
"Well- uhm see you?" The blue eyes looked at him for a second but the man looked back at the ground not even a moment later.
"Maybe, I guess" It was a short and simple answer but Louis just nodded as well as Harry did. Their ways parted and everyone made his way to his family.

"Oh my little boy!" Anne hugged him tightly and Harry hugged her back even more.
"Mum.. I've missed you"
He kissed her cheek as she smiled at him. "Let's go. Your sister is waiting for you!" Without letting him disagree, she took his suitcase and they walked off to the parking lot. "You look so tired baby.."
"You look awful, Harold" Gemma leaned against the car and gave him a smile.
"Still better than you, lovely sister"
Both of the laughed while their mum shook her head. "You two..."
Harry grinned even more and closed his arms around his sister.
"I've missed you, Gem"
"I've missed you too, Harry. Glad you're back" She smiled at him brightly. Too brightly.

"What's wrong?"
"Nothing? What should be wrong, let's go home!" She quickly turned around and got in the car. Harry looked at his mother in confusion. "What's the matter, mum?"
She just smiled at him, knowingly. "You'll see"
Harry sighed and got in as well. "Why do I have to sit in the backseat? That's not fair-"
"Well, it is. I'm the older one"
"I'm the rich and hot one!" He couldn't even say it with a straight face as Gemma turned around and Anne started laughing.
"Well you still don't have a beard"
"That was mean!" He pounted and Gemma burst out laughing as well.
"Oh, I've missed you so much Harry"
He gave her a smile and they started the ride home.

"So, what are you two up to?" Harry leaned back into the seat and closed his eyes. For the first time in the last few weeks he was relaxed. There was nothing to worry about at the moment. No Simon, no media, no rumours. No Louis. Nothing.
"Nothing? What should we be up to?" His mother answered innocently and he could literally hear her grinning.
"C'mon, tell me"
"Nope" Even with closed eyes, he would bet everything that they were grinning at each other in this exact moment.
"Oh c'mon, please? I hate suprises.."
"You don't. You just tell everyone you hate them because you are impatient" Gemma replied and he hummed.
"You definitely got that from your father" Anne sighed but ended up chuckling and Harry smiled.
"Sure mum, whatever you say" He opened his eyes for a moment.
"I'm so hungry, I didn't eat on the whole flight"
"You didn't? Honey that was nearly a whole day you were up in the air" Concerned his mother looked back at him for a moment.
"Mum, focus on the street. I'm fine"
It was Anne humming this time.

"Dinner's nearly ready. Mum made the lasagna you wanted"
"You really did?" He grinned as he started humming to the radio.
"Of course. I always do that after you come back from touring, you know that" It sounded like a reproach and Harry nodded.
"I know mum. You know I just didn't want you to do too much"
"I know, dear, I know" She gave him a smile and they drove in silence. He watched both of the women as they grinned in the front seats. Never would he admit that he loved surprises.

"You won't tell me, will you?"
"Nope. You'll know it soon"
Harry rolled his eyes before closing them again. They would drive for a little time and he was so tired. Even though he had slept half of the time on the plane, he was able to sleep well only now after having the distance to everyone and everything that had happened. After having the distance to Louis.
Stop it, Styles. That's it. You won't think about him again. It's Christmas. Your favourite season of the year. Enjoy it.
He admonished himself. Harry wouldn't think about him again. Not until he had spoken to Gemma and his mother about everything.
He closed his eyes and quickly fell asleep to the sound of the car in the street and Gemma and Anne's humming and singing to the radio. He fell asleep with a smile on his face.

"Harry? Honey? We are home.. Honey.."
He woke up the the sound of his mother's voice and blinked a few times.
"Finally, sleeping beauty is alive" Gemma chuckled and Harry rolled his eyes as he got out of the car. It was raining.
"It's raining"
"Oh really? No shit Sherlock. Welcome to England, Mr. Styles" Gemma teased and he grinned. How could you miss someone so much like he had missed the two women?
"Hurry, you'll be soaked until we're inside if you keep standing here!" Their mother warned and hurried inside with his suitcase.

Harry looked at Gemma and pulled her into another hug. "I really missed you"
"I missed you too, Haz"
He kissed her head, took her hand and twirled her around as he had done when they were kids. "May I ask you to dance with me, beautiful lady?"
She laughed and nodded and they danced in the rain for a few minutes until they were soaking wet.
"The poor Versace shirt" Gemma teased as they headed inside.
"Oh it's not Versace, it's Gucci" He teased back and she rolled her eyes again.
"Idiot"
He shook his head laughing and they quickly went upstairs to change.

As soon as he opened the door to his room, he stopped.
Instead of his single pair of bedclothes, there was another blanked and another pillow laying on his bed.
"Mum? Why did you-"
He turned around to see his mother grinning.
"Wait before you tell him! I want to see his reaction!" Gemma exclaimed and made her way to his room as well while she was drying her hair with a towel.

"Well.." Anne smiled. "We thought after everything, all the hiding and stuff- You might like to spend Christmas together. Without hiding. Just like a normal couple. Christmas with their families.. And we all know that you shouldn't be seen together that's why we didn't tell you immediately"
Harry's eyes grew wide. Oh no. Please no. Please.
"That's why Louis, Lottie, Phoebe and Daisy will arrive every minute" Both women looked at him with big smiles, expecting him to be happy about it.
"Wow- what?! I mean- WOW. Mum!" He pulled his mother into a hug and forced a big grin on his face.
"You're happy about it?"
"Sure, mum! That's- wow. He'll be so happy"
Harry smiled but wanted to throw up over the fact that he would have to see him again every minute. That's when his eyes met Gemma's. She had furrowed her brows as she looked at him. Anne let go of him.
"So, you get ready and I prepare dinner. There are a few mouths to feed" She smiled brightly and hurried downstairs. Gemma looked at him and wanted to say something but was interrupted by the sound of the doorbell. "There they are!"

Suprise bitches :)
