Louis' POV

Harry wasn't with them on the red carpet. With him opening up the show, he would attend it later. And to be honest, Louis was glad about it. Not because he didn't want him with him there, it just made things easier. He didn't need to worry about staring at him or touching him inappropriately in front of everyone.
Louis just smiled, followed the other three boys and answered questions. They gave several interviews but he didn't feel like he was really there. It felt like there was a big bubble surrounding him. He was there but his mind wasn't fully with him. Letting the others answer most of the questions, he kept the spotlight off of himself. And with the birth of Zayn's daughter Khai being the top topic next to their reunion, nobody really cared. So Louis just smiled and pretended everything was perfect when in fact it wasn't. When in fact he wanted to stand there with Harry, tell the whole world that he was his.

"Louis, what do you expect from Harry's opening tonight?" A microphone was held at his moth and he smiled.
"Oh I'm getting ready for a big show. He's bit of a diva there"
The reporter laughed and the boys agreed. "Yeah, it's gonna be good" Liam nodded with a smile.
"Doesn't it feel weird to see him perform on his own when you're in a band together? Don't you feel left out?"
Louis could barely stop himself from rolling his eyes and looked over to the fans.
"No, not at all. It's the contrary actually. We're happy for him and beyond proud. Our fingers are crossed for him to win his nominations" Zayn explained and was drowned out by the fans who screamed even louder when Louis waved at them.
"Isn't there a little bit of jealousy around?"
The woman frowned and looked at Louis who shook his head along with the others.
"None?"
"No. We support him the same way he would support each of us if it was the other way around. We're just happy that at least one of us got a nomination and we're really hoping for him to win that thing" Liam smiled at her.
"Yeah, after they left us out for the nominations in the last ten years, it's time for one of us to win that thing"  Louis added with a bit of a sassy grin, leading to the reporter to laugh.
"Well maybe you just put another album out and we'll see each other next year with a nomination for the band?"
Niall chuckled and shrugged. "We'll see what the future holds"
"Have a nice evening, lads! Thank you so much" She ended the interview and the four of them left the carpet a few minutes later.
"God, she was going on my nerves" Zayn confessed quietly and nudged Louis.
"Bet she did" He nodded and they entered the hall.

"There you are! Just follow through, your seats are in the first row. And don't you dare trip someone up!" Simon welcomed them and smiled for the camera as he patted on Louis shoulder.
Louis had to stop himself from rolling his eyes again and simply followed the others to their row. His eyes went wide when he saw whom he was sitting next to. Simon on his left, Harry on his right.
He exhaled. "Don't worry. Your ex-boyfriend probably won't even look at you tonight" Simon whispered as they sat down. Louis wished he could punch him right in the face on the spot. But instead he just smiled and pretended everything was fine. Again.
Harry would sit next to him for the whole show. Right next to him. And they couldn't touch or interact with each other. At least not in a way that would signal that they were a couple. Louis knew what he had to do. He had to ignore Harry, don't react to his performance - just ignore his existence for the next few hours. Easier said than done.

When the lights got turned off, Louis bit his bottom lip. He looked around and could see Taylor, their eyes met and she winked at him before looking at the stage.
Slowly and quietly, the drums started and with one loud "Hey!", the stage was lightened by golden light that shone like the sun onto Harry. And there he was, dancing to the intro before singing, surrounded by other dancers. But Louis gave a shit about the other dancers. His eyes were focused on Harry - who was more beautiful than ever.
He was wearing a light blue jumpsuit that was made of silk and a light looking other fabric that made parts of the suit see-through. The same light fabric was attached to his hips and extended the bottom part of the jumpsuit making it look like a dress. At the top the silk was high-necked and skintight. Harry looked simply stunning. With some of his tattoos shining through, he took Louis' breath away as he moved, every part of the choreography perfectly, making it look so easy.
The stage was a perfect match with his outfit and the dancers. Even though the jumpsuit was blue, the dancers were as colourful as the stage that was filled with sunflowers and other flowers in nearly every shade making it a perfect stage that fit the song perfectly.
