Harry's POV

When Harry walked through the doors, his hand was holding Louis' as hard as he could. Their fingers intertwined and Louis thumb gently stroking over the back of his hand calmed him down.
He turned his head and looked at his boyfriend who was way too calm in his eyes. His hand was sweating and shaking but Louis' wasn't even shaking a little bit. Harry was nervous. Even though he wouldn't let anyone but Louis see that. It was one of the first things he had learned in the music industry: Never let anyone see how you feel. Always be able to show something different from what you feel. Never allow yourself to be vulnerable.

Through his little gestures, Harry assumed that Louis probably knew he was nervous. To be honest, Harry was fucking scared. He prayed that everything would go as planned.
He took a deep breath and looked around. Everyone in the office was looking at them, their gazes judging. Harry tried to ignore everything around them and walked alongside Louis straight into the empty conference room without checking-in at the front desk.

The woman sitting there quickly followed them. "Excuse me? You can't just go in here. You don't have an appointment-"
Louis didn't let her finish. "Get Simon Cowell in here. Now"
"Please" Harry added and gave her a small smile.
Irritated, the blonde stumbled back out of the room and Harry sat down next to Louis. "Why aren't you nervous?" He mumbled under his breath and looked at his boyfriend who leaned into the black leather chair.
"Because I trust you love" Louis squeezed his hand and gave him a quick smile.
"No pressure at all" Harry mumbled and sighed, making Louis chuckle.

A few seconds later, the door bursted open. "What the fuck do you think you're doing here?!" Simon looked angrily at them.
"Nice to see you, too, Simon" Harry gave him a brave smile and pointed at the chair opposite of them. "Would you mind sitting down?"
"Would I mind? Get the fuck out of here. You can't behave like this in my office!"
"Sit down, Simon" Harry repeated as he took out the documents.
"What is that?" The man asked, furrowing his browns.
"You will want to see it. So sit down. And close the door" Harry ordered, his anger slowly taking over.

With a loud sigh, Simon closed the door and sat down. "I'm really not in the mood for your shit right now"
"Well I don't care" Harry placed the three paper stacks next to each other in front of him. "You are going to sign these. Right now"
"What's that supposed to be?" The man raised his eyebrows, slightly amused in his anger.
"Oh, I'm glad you ask, Simon. This one-" He placed his hand on the first stack. "It's the notice of cancellation of Louis' contract with Modest!. It frees Louis from every contract made with Syco and Modest! Management. It also includes that his music - his album Walls and every other song he sang in - belong to him from now on. Syco and Modest! won't own that anymore"

Simon burst out into laughter but Harry continued without hesitating as he placed his hand on the stack in the middle. "This is the termination of the contract that involves One Direction. It will end every bond between Syco, Modest! and the band. Meaning that part of the five albums still belong to Syco, as well as meaning that the tour will continue and you'll get the planned amount of money for that. After the tour, One Direction is free to continue with a different label and a different management"
"You're insane, you know that?" Simon laughed and shook his head.

"Oh I'm really happy that you think about it that way. Because that makes this one even better" Harry placed his hand on the last stack. "Those are the notices of cancellation of Matthew Benston's and his sister Izzy Benston's contracts with Modest! It will free them from any contract with Modest! immediately"
It was more than satisfying to see the smile drop on Simon's face. "What is that supposed to mean? Who are those people?"
"You know exactly who they are. It was you who paid the boy to break into Jofferey Lang's office"
"That's fucking ridiculous, Harry!" He tried to sound amused but failed miserably.
"Is it? I talked to Matt for several hours and he had quite a lot to tell me. But if you don't mind that Matthew and I pay the London police a visit, that's not a problem at all" He took out his phone and dialed his mother's number.
"Stop- stop it, Harry!" Simon exclaimed quickly, panicking. It was Louis who leaned forward and simply placed a ballpen on top of the papers.
