You being here
Means an incredible amount to me
So I hope you'll stay;
Stay for this journey
I am no poet
Nor dare I,
Or will I say,
That any of my works are of any great.
For that is only for you to judge
And I genuinely hope
You'll find my works okay.
And so we shall start
On this long voyage of ours
Where the shore ain't so far
(Or at least not as far as you'd think)
From our grasp
For us souls
Are similar to sunflowers
For when there is hope
And light
And love
(And perhaps a little water,
But all jokes aside)
We only will grow taller,
And taller,
Towards the sun
