Somehow all the pain
Seemed to go away
Whenever I saw your face,
And time seemed to stop
Whenever we talked and laughed
Throughout the days
But deep down
I knew
You did not like me
In the same way
As I thought of you
And so,
I kept my mouth shut.
Never telling you
The feelings stirring
From within my heart
And only did I ever dare
To look straight into your kind and brown
Mesmerising eyes
Whenever you visited
All those lovely
