In many ways,
The only reason I would wake up
And face a horrible day
For your smile
Was the only reason
I would be able
To ignore what the other people
Would say
For what started out
As nothing
Quickly turned
Into something
(Even though you probably
Never thought of it that way)
And at that time
I did not realise
How much you made me
Laugh and giggle and smile
For I only knew
That I quite liked
Having you around
