Deep down I knew
This little happiness of mine
Was not meant to last.

In order to be accepted
By the crowd
So that you

After many months
Of our lovely days,
We slowly grew distant
With you not even
Saying a "hello"
As we walked on by
Opposite directions
Heads often bent down low
With a voice in my head often whispering
