"They are already in the conference room, Ma'am.." salubong kaagad sa akin ni Lei.

Tumango ako sa kaniya at naglakad na patungo sa conference room. May meeting ako, but guess what? I'm late.

"I'm sorry.." paghingi ko agad ng tawad pagkapasok doon.

Tumayo silang lahat at binati ako. There's a bunch of engineers and architects in this meeting right now. It's for the new hotel kasi.

Nandoon din si Kairo, kasama ang team niya, I look at him and  look away when I saw him looking at me too.

It's been three weeks since our business dinner, I got busy for my gallery that's why.

"You may start.." I said.

Kairo's team presents the design of the hotel and I felt proud seeing my painting being a reality. Maybe I should study architecture na din!

The professionals asked some questions and I just listened to it, I don't know what they're talking about. I am listening but none of their words are coming in my mind.

We were in the middle of discussion when the door opened.I was shocked when I saw my Kuya with his corporate attire.

"I'm sorry for interupting, I thought my little sister need a bit help with this project.." he said.

People greeted him and my Kuya told them to continue as he sat beside me. Napabalik ang tingin ko kay Kairo, I remembered when he asked me about my Kuya that night. His eyes looked at me with so much confusion. I look away again and did my best in listening.

"Buti naman naisipan mong magpunta dito, Kuya.." wika ko habang papasok na kami sa opisina ko, katatapos lamang ng meeting.

"Well, Dad told me to do so.. I am an engineer, Marga , siguro naisip niya na may maitutulong ako sa project." he said.

"Project, project! Shit that project! Hindi ko na maasikaso ang gallery ko dahil sa project na yan!" reklamo ko. "Bumalik ka na muna kasi, Kuya. Matagal pa bago umanak si Ari, ang OA naman kasi ng leave mo.." dagdag ko pa.

Tumawa siya sa akin.

"I'm sorry, brat..Hindi pa ako babalik but I'll help you with this. Don't worry." he said.

"As if.." I said.

He smiled and shrugged. May tiningnan siyang mga dokumento sa ibabaw ng mesa ko. He explained to me some of it. We stopped when we heard a knock.

"Ma'am, Architect de Arellano wants to talk you, it's urgent daw po." I heard Lei said.

"Alright. Let him in." I said.

I look at my Kuya who's now also looking at me with his malicious eyes.

"What? Get out na." I said to him.

He chuckled and I thought he's gonna leave na when Kairo entered my office, but instead of that he sat on my sofa.

Kairo glanced at him for a second, then slowly approached me.

"What is it, Architect?" I asked him.

I make him sat on the chair infront of my table.

"It's about the design, I want to asked you if you want to add something on it?" he said.

Nagtaka ako sa tanong niya. I mean our meeting was done just a couple of minutes, and he brought that up now?

"It's okay for me..Is that the only reason why you came here?" I asked him.
