EPILOGUE

MARGA

"You are the most beautiful bride ever!" my Mom said while she's looking at me.

After all the long preparations, here I am getting married to Kairo. We decided to have a church wedding because that's what we want and our parents want, malapit sa diyos.

"Thank you, Mommy.. Sa lahat lahat." I said.

She smiled at me and kiss me at my cheeks. Lumabas muna siya sa room kung saan ako inayusan, the door opened again and I saw Yuna and Miyeon there.

"Aigo!" Miyeon surprisingly said when she look at me. "Ang ganda mo, Marga! Shit."

Tumawa na lamang ako sa kaniya, the both of them were already wearing their gowns.. They look incredible with it.

"Aren't you nervous?" Yuna then asked.

"I'm super nervous." I said.

"Mas kinakabahan sayo iyong groom mo, hindi mapakali don." sabi ni Miyeon habang tumatawa.

"Hoy! Ang bagal mo Yuna." biglang pumasok si Turner, natulala pa siya ng makita ako. "Marga will you marry me?" tanong niya bigla, nagbibiro lang.

Binatukan naman agad siya ni Yuna. "Ikakasal na 'yong tao, maghanap ka na lang ng iba." 

"Mahirap na maghanap ng iba sa panahon ngayon." Turner said.

Umiling-iling na lang kami  ni Miyeon sa kanilang dalawa, parang mga sira ulo pa rin sila eh.Bumukas ulit ang pinto at nakita ko naman doon sina Kuya at Caleb.

"Umiiyak ka ba, Kuya?" tanong ko sa kaniya, mapula kasi ang mata niya.

"Oo kanina pa." si Caleb ang sumagot.

"Hindi ako umiiyak, napuwing lang." pagtanggi pa ni Kuya.

Napangiti na lang ako sa sinabi niya. Nakangiti ako habang tinitingnan silang lahat, there are one of the reason why I am happy.

"Si Marga ang pinakabunso sa inyong lahat siya pa unang ikakasal? Ang hihina niyo ah." my Kuya teased them.

As I know, Caleb was the oldest, sunod sa kaniya s Turner, then si Yuna, then si Miyeon tapos ako.

"Si Caleb pinakamatanda..Hindi na yan mag-aasawa pa, Turner ikaw kailan mo balak?" si Kuya ulit.

"Busy pa ako 'oy. Daming patient." sagot naman niya.

Nagkaroon muna kami ng picture taking before going to the church. Hindi ko maipaliwanag ang nararamdaman ko, I never knew before that my life can be this happy, I feel so contented on what I have right now.. There's really a rainbow after the rain.

As I walk down the aisle, with my parents beside me, looking at Kairo who's now crying while looking at me, I finally realized that I really deserved the happiness and not the sadness. When he took my hand from my Dad, I also knew that a second chance is not bad when it was for him.

"You're the most beautiful bride, Sammy." he said.

I smiled at him. "Ikaw naman ang pinakagwapong groom,Kai."

"Salamat sa lahat ng pagmamahal mo." sabi pa niya.

"Salamat din sa lahat ng love, Kai. I'm always thankful to have you."

While we are dancing at the reception, what I only do is look at his eyes and smile, with the romatic music playing around us, with the loud cheers from our visitor. I knew that forever for the both of us exist.

"Okay, we saw a wonderful dance from our Mr. and Mrs. de Arellano, now a important person for the bride wants her to give a message, the bride's family requested this so let's all listen." the emcee said.

Nakangiti sa akin si Kairo, habang ako ay nagtataka. A video of my Tatay appears at the screen beside us.

"Ayos na ba yan, Puring? Naka-play na?" he asked.

"Oo nga kanina pa." I heard Yaya.

Umayos ng upo si Tatay sa kama niya at diretsong tumingin sa camera, malaki ang mga ngiti niya.

"Sam, anak. Kakatapos ko lang sa check-up, wala daw improvement itong puso ko, isang atake pa daw posibleng umakyat na ako sa langit." 

Mahina siyang natawa pero bakas sa mga mata niya ang lungkot.

"Diba ang promise sayo ni Tatay, nadoon siya sa pinaka-importanteng pangyayari sa buhay mo, ang kasal.. Pasensya na kung ganito na lang ang mangyayari.." he smiled.

"Congratulations, anak. Wala man ako diyan, pero gusto kong sabihin sayo na sobrang masaya ako para sayo. Kung sino man ang mapangasawa mo.. Sana hindi ka niya saktan at mahalin ka sana niya ng sobra. Mahal na mahal kita, anak."

Before the video ends, I saw a tears fall down from his eyes, he still has a big smile on his face.

Instead of crying after the video ended, I smiled because my Tatay wants me to be happy and I am now happy.

"Stephanie Anne Margaret Rochford, I still remember the day when you introduced yourself with that long name..The days we spent at the soccer field where our love started to bloom..The days I wiped your tears away from your beautiful eyes.. Seeing you with that sadness I promise to myself that I'll make you happy, but I also failed. Even though I'd hurt you a lot you still gave me a second chance." while he's saying his vows he's looking at me like I was the most precious thing for him.

We decided to say our vows in the reception, just because we want it. 

"Sammy, I promise to you that I will be the best husband, I'll take care of you and our children until my last breath. I'll cherish every moment we had and we will have.. I would never break your heart and trust again. Mahal kita, mahal na mahal."

My tears started to fall down, I remember the days where I was so down and thought that i'll be forever like that, when I almost give up on fighting, when I almost killed myself.. I can't find the one piece of my heart so I can finally fix it.. Noong nakita kong buhay si Kuya I thought he's the missing piece, but I was wrong.

The missing piece is my own happiness, the happiness fixed my heart.

While I was in Switzerland, I was only happy because I saw that the people around me were all happy, that I forgot to realize that my own happiness is still gone.

I met him again, he made me smiled again, he stayed by myside again,he explained, he asked for forgiveness, he love me. With that all, I finally found my own happiness.

With him I can finally say that,

I am Stephanie Anne Margaret Rochford, and yes my heart is now fixed.
