Chapter Thirty
"Okay done," Sophie smiled at her masterpiece and Alex just rolled his eyes, probably still trying to understand why women loved playing with makeup.
"Okay thank you!" I looked at it in the mirror and loved how it was smokey but didn't make me look like I was from the walking dead.
"You like it!" Sophie looked pleased and I nodded.
"Heck yeah I like it! You did so good!" I responded still admiring it in the mirror.
"Kallie, lets go before another girl swoops me up," Sebastian commented, motioning him to come over to him.
I looked over at Sophie and she shooed me off, "go have fun, you need a better experience than yesterday," she smiled at more before I went off to Sebastian.
Sebastian was talking with Alec and the same girl he was chatting with before looking up at me.
"Hey Sebastian ready to party?" I asked holding out my hand
With his hand he grabbed my wrist causing my memory to fade back in, I lost control. His voice echoed and I felt myself pull my arm out of his grip.
"Kallie?" Sebatian looked at me concerned before holding his hand out for me instead to take, "drink?" he asked.
I looked at Alec who knew exactly what happened but looked at if he didn't care, "Yeah," I whispered, taking his hand.
"Did you see that Alec? She's got issues," she laughed.
"I'm sorry," I said quickly and felt horrible, "I shouldn't have done that. I'm sorry I'm an embarrassment," I felt humiliated.
"You did nothing wrong Kallie, and don't talk down on yourself like that. You can't control what happened to you last night. It's all still very new, and I see how much it's bothering you. Don't let girls like that tear you down," he handed me a water and I looked down at it.
"Alec told you didn't he?" I looked up at him.
"In the midst of both Hannah and Alec trying to figure out what happened I overheard Alec mention you don't drink."
"And you didn't ask why?" I looked up at him while taking the drink.
"Some people don't like alcohol while others choose never to be tempted, plus I didn't think it was a big deal," he shrugged.
"I had a drinking problem," I said it out loud with a big question if Sebastian would leave, if he'd think I had issues. Alec thought that.
"Most people do, but most people also won't admit to it," he smiled at me and it made my heart feel that was once so heavy, lighten.
"You don't judge me Sebastian, why?" I looked up at him and he smiled and shook his head.
"What's the purpose in judging you? It won't improve anything and it's never been my place to judge," Sebastian looked around the party and I wondered who he was looking for.
"The girl that was supposed to come, are you looking for her?" I asked him.
"What?" Sebatian looked at me.
"You can go find her, I'll be fine by the drinks
"No, Kallie I couldn't do that to you, that's fucked up to do. Really I don't want to see her," he shook his head, "besides she chose to hang with them."
"But I wasn't like them Sebastian, was I?" I looked at him and he smiled.
"Your one of the few," he took a sip of his drink and looked back at her and Thomas talking.
