Edmund

I walked through the snow for what felt like hours until I came face to face with the Queens Castle. It was like a castle had been converted into icicles and shone a bright colour standing out so badly I was sure you could see it from the other side of Narnia. I began to walk towards the doors that led towards a courtyard but I thought I had heard a distant shout come from behind me but I couldn't see anything so I carried on.

The courtyard was filled with statues of animals and creatures that are stone. Some had magnificent poses such as warrior centaur holding a sword up high. I thought it would be even funnier to perhaps try and draw some glasses on one of the animals but something else caught my attention. I saw a statue of a family with two parents and two girls. It struck something inside of me as the two girls didn't look happy to be near their parents in such a close matter as I realised that one of these girls was the Queen but where was the other girl? I stumbled back tripping over what I thought was a wolf statue until the wolf was now pinning me down to floor making me hit my head in the process.

"Be still stranger. I prefer to kill you quickly." The wolf said making panic rise through my body as I tried to convince him not too kill me.

"I met the Queen in the woods she told me to come! I'm a Son of Adam!" I shouted quickly making the wolf climb off me whilst mumbling something I couldn't quite hear. The wolf had taken me to the Queens throne room and I couldn't help but take a seat on it too see what it would be like when I become King.

"Like it?" The Queen said coming out of nowhere making me quickly rise to my feet and stand in front of the Queen who was now sat on her throne.

"y-Yes your majesty" I stuttered quite embarrassed that she had caught me hoping to be King.

"Now tell me Edmund are your sisters deaf?" She asked me making me confused and reply with a small 'no' "And your brother is he unintelligent?"

"Well I think so but mum says-"

"-THEN HOW DARE YOU COME ALONE!" She shouted suddenly rising to her feet making me tremble with fear. "Edmund, I asked so little of you! Couldn't even do that!"

"I did bring them half way. There in the dam with the b-beaver's!" I blurted out as I saw a smirk appear on her face as she looked to the wolf that had escorted me here.

"Well I guess your not a total lost then." She said as she turned around to sit back on her throne.

"Can I maybe have some more Turkish Delights?" I asked in a small voice as she told Ginarrbrik to escort me for my food. As I turned back I saw a pack of wolfs run towards the door making me regret my decision of leaving my family.

I had betrayed my family without thinking about what I was saying. The witches servant had place a chain around my ankles leaving me stuck in a cold prison cell. The only food I was given was a frozen piece of bread that was so hard I couldn't even bite into it.

"Are you going to eat that?" A voice said in the cell next to me making me jump slightly. I moved closer hoping to get a closer look at to this was and give them the frozen bread. When the man next to me appeared I saw that he had goat legs, horns, a human body and a red scarf. It was Mr Tumnus. I accidently said his name making him look at me. "What's left of him. "Your Lucy Pevensie's brother."

"I'm Edmund." I mumbled as I looked at the floor not wanting Mr Tumnus to know I'm ashamed of what I did.

"You have the same nose." He chuckled to himself but this was quickly replaced with fear instead. "Is your sister okay?" He asked but before I could answer the doors for the cellars opened as the white witch came and stood in front of me looking furious.

"My wolves turned that dam apart, your little family are nowhere to be found." She said as she began to pick me up by the collar choking me a little boy. "Where are they?!"

"I don't know!" I managed to get out as she began to put more pressure on my throat

"Then you are no longer of use to me." She said dropping me as she raised her wand in my direction.

"Wait!" I said catching everyone's attention. I wasn't going to let myself die at the hands of her. "The beavers said something bout Aslan and another witch." I said making her lower the wand that was pointed at me.

"Aslan! Witch! Where!?" She asked as her eyes started to grow a darker colour. I looked at Mr Tumnus who shook his head.

"If you would excuse me he's only been here for a few days-" Mr Tumnus started to say until her guard him on the head making him cry out in pain.

"I left before I could hear anymore. I wanted to see you!" I shouted making Mr Tumnus smile slightly which the White Witch caught on too.

"Release the faun." She commanded as her guard released the chains on his ankles and dropped him roughly to lie beside her feet. "Do you know why your here faun?"

"Because I believe in a free Narnia." He said proudly which made the witch give him a cruel smile.

"Your here because he-" She said now pointing at me "-turned you in for sweeties." Guilt swarmed my body as I watched her guard take Mr Tumnus up the stairs whilst he looked at me with a face filled with pain. "Get my sleigh ready. Edmund misses his family."
