chapter 11

TODAY WAS CASPIANS AND HECTA'S CORONATION .Hecta was wearing a black dress that had gold on it. The gold was to represent her being the Mistress of Fire and well she liked the colour back. It was off her shoulder and looked beautiful. Her makeup made her look a bit older than what she is but she liked it.

Even thought she knew she looked good she was still very nervous. She didn't think she would ever be a Queen especially not to both Narnians and Telmarines but she was glad she had Caspian by her side. Hecta was pacing back and forth when Susan and Lucy came in causing her to stop pacing.

"You look amazing." Cat said coming forward and embracing her best friend in a hug.

"So do you three." Hecta said with a smile as she hugged Lucy and Susan.

"Edmund is gonna love it." Lucy said making Hecta smile.

"I'm so nervous. I feel like I could cry any minute." Hecta said with a fake laugh as she began to start pacing again.

"Well don't because it will ruin your makeup." Susan said as she tried to calm Hecta down but was interrupted by Edmund knocking on the door. The three girls looked at each other before walking off.

"Wow you look... wow." Edmund said making Hecta laugh from where she was stood.

Edmund walked over to her and made her sit next to him only to see her hands were shaking. He grabbed her hands and place a kiss on them. He knew what it felt like to be worried before becoming a ruler of Narnia and the pressure of everyone staring at you.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"I dont know. I just feel...I feel like they wont respect me because of who I am. I mean I know the Narnians love me but the Telmarines not so much." Hecta messing around with the engagement ring on his finger.

"But Hec look at the castle. Yes Cair Paravel was lighter but this castle seems made for you and who cares if they dont respect you I will make them and I'm sure Aslan will too." He said making her laugh. He leaned forward and kissed her head just reassure her that its going to be find before helping her up. "Here." He said as he took out a box and opened and had her engagement ring inside it.

He placed it on her finger just like he had done when he proposed. She then wrapped her arms round his neck and hugged him saying how she was sorry she took it off which made him say it was okay until Glenstorm came in and told Edmund he had to go back and that it was time.

"It's going to be fine. I love you." He said before walking out making Hecta look in the mirror one last time before walking out.

Music was playing as many Telmarine's and Narnians stood up. A centaur from one end escorted Caspian as one escorted Hecta they walked towards the thrones. It was obvious which one was whose. Hecta's was a dark red with fire symbols surrounding it while Caspian's was a dark blue with mini crossbow symbols surrounding it. Once they had reached the stairs a faun walked forward with crowns. Caspian's crown and a blue tint to it while Hecta's had a red tint to it.

"To the Western Sun, I give you Queen Hecta the enchanting." Aslan said as Hecta knelt down and the faun place the crown on her as she gave him a small smile.

"To the Southern Skies, I give you King Caspian Courageous."  Aslan said as Caspian knelt down and the faun placed the crown once Caspian's head.

Once Caspian's crown was on his head, they both walked up towards their thrones and sat down.

"Once a King and Queen of Narnia, always a King and Queen of Narnia." Aslan said.

"Long live Queen Hecta! Long live King Caspian!" the crowd cheered and shouted as fireworks were set off celebrating.

Edmund was sat gazing out at the view from a Telmarine balcony. He was so in deep thought that he didn't even hear Hecta entering the balcony.

"Your not one for parties are you?" Hecta said smirking knowing Edmund had said to her the same thing at his coronation.

"Well forgive me your majesty." Edmund said in the same tone she used on him making Hecta walk towards him.

"What you staring at." She said with a smile on her face.

"How dull this castle is and the shit view." Edmund said smirking.

"I know... Its perfect." Hecta said making Edmund laugh until she stared at him knowing the same music they danced too when they were younger was on. Edmund grabbed her hand and led her to the dance floor.

They danced for what felt like forever just being happy in each others company

"We were right." Peter said to Susan as they got Deja vu from all those years ago when they knew they would end up together.

"I know. I'm always right." Susan said causing Peter to laugh and give her a fake glare as their brother and Hecta danced the night away enjoying each others company.
