Hecta
It was late at night when Aslan and I was going to meet Jadis at the stone table. My hands and legs were shaking and I think Aslan could tell as he gestured me to hold on to his mane. I didn't know what would happen to me once Aslan sacrificed himself but that didn't bother me. Aslan was sacrificing himself for no reason if what I heard about Jadis is true them Edmund and the Pevensies will be gone. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard twigs snap behind us and saw Lucy and Susan.
"Shouldn't you both be in bed." Aslan said as we came to a stop.
"We couldn't sleep" Lucy said.
"Please Aslan. Couldn't we come with you?" Susan asks and immediately I knew this would be a bad idea.
"We would be glad of the company tonight." Aslan said as Susan come next to me and Lucy went to the other side of Aslan.
Susan could tell that I was nervous as she grabbed my hand and squeezed it reassuringly but I was more nervous of the fact that they would be there. We walked in silence until we reached the the entrance to the stone table.
"It is time. From now on we must go alone. Thank you Susan. Thank you Lucy. And farewell." Aslan said to Susan and Lucy making them walk off but we both knew they wouldn't leave.
We walked towards the stone table to see it was covered by Jadis' army who were bigger in numbers compared to the Pevensies. Some of their army came towards me with a bright torch causing me to make my eyes glow red making the creature cower away until Jadis' voice caused them to go silent.
"Come sister. Leave him." She ordered making me walk towards her without looking at Aslan.
I stood by Jadis and watched as her army shaved his fur and dragged him up to the stone table causing him pain. Once he was on the table, they tied his legs to the table so he couldn't escape.
"Tonight, the Deep magic will be appeased, but tomorrow, we will take Narnia, Forever!" Jadis shouted causing cheering to uproar making my ears hurt slightly. Jadis looked towards me for a brief moment before crouching down to speak in Aslans ear.
"You know, Aslan, I'm a little disappointed in you. Did you really think by giving your life you would save the Human boy and my sister?" Jadis said starting to laugh making me see myself in her. "Your giving up your life, and saving no one. So much for love." The crowd started laughing as Jadis stood up with a knife in her hand. "In that knowledge. Despair. And DIE!!"
The knife went straight through Aslan as I saw the muscles give out and his head roll back. I showed no emotion on my face as I didn't want Jadis to think she had won. I knew somewhere Lucy and Susan was still here and I knew they would be disappointed in me.
"THE GREAT CAT IS DEAD!!" She shouted as her eyes went a dark black. "General, gather your army and prepare for battle. However short it may be. I suggest you should do the same" She said the last bit to me.
"Why bother." I said making Jadis look shocked at me
"What's that supposed to mean?" My sister asked with a shocked face.
"Think about it Jadis. You and me together is no match for those humans. You want to rule Narnia just like mother but why not put her greatest gifts together."
"Mother would rather me kill you!" Jadis shouted looking appalled as I had a smirk on my face.
"So do it. You have the knife so kill me with it." I said as she grabbed the knife holding it close to my body without making me flinch. I could see she was thinking about it as her eyes started to water and she pulled the knife down. "You can't win without me and you know it." I said as I wiped my not so little sisters tears.
"Lets go." Jadis said as we both led her army back towards their camp. I could feel the disgust radiating from Lucy and Susan's face knowing I am now branded as a traitor.
