Edmund

I managed to bring my siblings into Narnia just like the Queen had answered and I couldn't wait to see her again. I hoped she would be happy with me and maybe give me some gifts from my accomplishment. We was all currently on our way to Mr Tumnus house but when we reached it we saw the door was booted down making Lucy run inside.

There was glasses shattered with paintings thrown all over the floor but the painting that stood out the most to me was one with a scratch across it. Peter walked over to a sign and saw it was a message from the Queen.

"The faun Tumnus is under arrest and awaiting his trial on a charge high treason against her imperial Majesty Jadis, Queen of Narnia. For comforting her said Majesties' enemies, harbouring spies and fraternizing with Humans, signed Maugrim, Captain of the Secret Police, Long live the Queen." He read aloud making Susan panic and suggest we go back.

"But we have to help him!" Lucy exclaimed with tears in her eyes even thought her friend was a criminal.

"Its out of our hands Lu." Peter replied as he tried to lead her towards the door.

"You don't get it do you. I'm the human." Lucy told us. "She must have found out he helped me." Peter tried to comfort her saying they would figure something out but I thought this was outrageous. If the Queen arrested him then she was right and I'm sick of my siblings treating him as if he is a saint.

"Why should we help him. He's a criminal!" I shouted but my siblings got distracted by a bird making a noise outside meaning they would check it out instead of listening to me. Typical.

We left the small house trying to find what the bird was leading us to. We followed it until we came across what appeared to be a beaver making Peter go forward and try and pet it.

"Well I ain't gonna smell it, if that's what you want." The beaver said making us all extremely confused as a beaver couldn't usually talk. The beaver said he knew the faun Tumnus and that we all needed a plan so he took us to his dam.

I didn't want to go to the dam but here I was following in my siblings footsteps when I should be seeing the Queen who can make my wishes come true. We was now sat inside as I sat on the stairs sulking and my siblings sat with the beaver who wanted to tell us what happened with Mr Tumnus.

"Is there anything we can do to help Mr Tumnus?" Peter asked.

"There is hope dear." Mrs beaver said as she went around handing everyone ,except for me, a tray of fish and chips. But fish and chips back home was quite different to our fish chips back in Finchley.

"Yeah there's a load more than hope.. Aslan is on the move" Mr beaver said dramatically making me very confused as no one had heard of him till now.

"Who's Aslan?" I asked making Mr beaver laugh until he realised we actually dont know who he is.

He's only the King of the whole wood! The top geezer." He said making me scoff and walk back to my spot on the stairs. "He's waiting for you at the stone table."

"Waiting for us?" Lucy asked.

You have got to be joking! They don't even know about the prophecy! Look, Aslan's return, Tumnus' arrest, the secret police they're all happening because of you!" He shouted which peaked my interest.

"Your blaming us?" Susan asked with a look of disbelief.

"There's a prophecy. When Adams flesh and Adam's bone sits in Cair Paravel in throne the evil is over. It has long been for told two Sons of Adam, two Daughters of Eve and one witch who has been wronged by Narnia will help defeat the White Witch and restore peace to Narnia." When the beaver said this it was so obvious they was wrong about the Queen. She was so kind towards me the other day and I want to see her, I just have to wait for the right moment.

"And you think were the ones?" Peter asked very confused.

"Well you better be because Aslan's already figured out your army!" Mr beaver exclaimed.

"Our army?" Lucy breathed out confused about the whole situation.

"Mum sent us away so we wouldn't be caught up in a war." Susan reminded Peter.

"I think you made a mistake, were not heroes!" Peter told the beavers whose expression had dropped.

"Were from Finchley." Susan said which made the beavers stare at each other in confusion.

"I think its-"

"Wait." Lucy said cutting off Peter and making me think that she had seen me walk towards the door but I then realised she was still talking to the beavers. "What about the other witch cant she help you?"

"That's the uh the thing we don't know who she is." Mr beaver said looking down making me wonder if he was hiding something.

"But we have heard rumours about who it might be but its impossible." Mr beaver added.

"Who was it rumoured to be?" Peter asked.

"No Beaver we can't." Mrs beaver whisper to her husband. Seeing this as a good distraction I decided to walk out the door and make my way towards the Queens castle.

I made the mistake of not bringing my coat as I now realised it was even more cold than before. I kept looking around as I can feel something spying on me which is putting me on edge. "I know you're here." I said which was only trying to be a joke at the start until he heard a voice respond.

"I know, you know I'm here." The voice of a young girl said making me turn around and face a cloaked figure. "I also know where you're going." She said taking stepping in front of my path

"It's none of business where I'm going." I said trying to make my voice not sound shakey. "Now if you'll excuse me you're in my way." I tried to walk past her but she pinned me to the floor. Her hood came down exposing who she was. She was the most gorgeous girl I had ever seen. Her green eyes stared at me and I couldn't help staring back. She had the most amazing features with wavy brown hair. She didn't look any older than me which made me snap back to the situation I was in. "You're just a girl." I said.

"To you I might be." She said with a smirk on her face. I had to stop myself from staring. "Now you're gonna go back to the beavers with your family and stay with them. Got it?" She said still pinning me to the floor.

"Absolutely not." I said making her smile drop. "Now get the off me and let me go."

"I can't let you do this." She said as she started to put more pressure on her leg that had my arm underneath.

"You don't have a choice." I said feeling a little bad for not doing what she wanted me to do. "You can stay here like this all you want but no matter what I'm not changing my mind. You Narnians are wrong!"

"Trust me, Edmund. I know better than anyone and no matter how much I want to believe you that we're wrong, I'm afraid its in her DNA." She said as she walked away from me making me want to ask what she meant but it was only a matter of time until my siblings realised I'm gone so instead I chose the Queen.
