Edmund

I hardly slept last night. I couldn't help it. The amount of stress I had cause my family and for what. They didn't deserve that and I wasn't sure if I was totally forgiven but I hope they will soon. I also couldn't sleep because of the random girl in the woods who turned out to be the witch in the prophecy. Even worse she was the sister of the White Witch but for some reason I felt like I could trust her as the way she opened to the Narnians, who had previously hated her, made me feel like she was trying to make a difference.

It was the next morning and I was shattered but I had no trouble in eating the amount of toast in front of me. I hadn't eaten properly in days so this was heaven to me. All of my siblings were sat with me as we had our breakfast.

"Narnia isn't going to run out of toast Ed." Lucy said but my attention was quickly averted towards Hecta who had just come out of her tent. She walked towards us not looking like she was going to stop until Susan spoke up first.

"Please sit with us." Susan said making Hecta sit next to me on the other cushion.

"I'm sure you can pack some toast for the journey back." Peter said making all of us look towards him out of confusion.

"Were leaving?" Susan asked.

I'm not, you are." Peter said to Susan "I promised Mum I would keep you three safe but there's not reason I can't stay."

"But they need us." Lucy said "All five of us."

"Lucy it's too dangerous. You almost drowned! Edmund was almost killed!" Peter said not knowing what he was talking about.

"Which is why we have to stay." I said turning all attention back towards me. "I've seen what the White Witch can do and I've helped her do it and we can't leave these people behind to suffer for it." I looked over at Hecta and saw a bit of guilt in her eyes. I'm not sure what her past was like but I can tell it still haunts her.

"Well its settled then." Susan said getting up from her spot and walked over to her bow and arrow.

"Where are you going?" Peter asked.

"To get in some practise." She said with a smirk and walked off Lucy following behind.

"Are you not going with them?" I asked Hecta as she shook her head whilst Oreius walked towards us.

"Bow's aren't really my thing. I prefer swords and knifes. " She said with a small smile.

"You could train me and Peter. " I suggested but as she was about to refuse I spoke before her. "Trust me we need all the help we can get we've never even seen a sword since coming here."

"Do you want me to train you?" She asked Peter which he responded with a yes.

"Follow me to the training ground and we will teach you both the basics." Oreius said as he and Hecta walked off with me and Peter following.

We had been training for ages with Hecta and Oreius. I was starting to become fond of the young witch as she constantly tried to get me to improve how I held the sword. We rode towards Susan and Lucy whilst me and Peter spared with Hecta and Oreius behind us. I was currently winning and with how much Hecta shouted giving me tips you would think she made a bet on me to win over Peter. Suddenly, the horse I was riding stood on its back two legs making me nearly fall. "Woah horsey!" I exclaimed.

"My name is Philip" The horse replied as I apologised. I looked at what startled Philip and saw Mr Beaver stood in front of us.

"You better come quick the White Witch has requested a meeting with Aslan." The beaver told us as I felt all the colour drain out of my face. She was here for me again. We all ran towards the tents as Hecta went to hide from her sister.
