Hecta

I was currently hiding within Aslans tent when I heard my sister arrive. I heard her dwarf servant shout the Queen of Narnia over again and I felt sick. How was this the same girl who used to cry whenever a plant died.

"I see you haven't found the Witch." I overheard Jadis say. "I guess your little prophecy doesn't work." I decided this was the right time to step out of the tent and stood beside Aslan. Jadis' army gasped as I looked at my sister. I could tell she was hurting but someone else caught my attention I looked to the side of Jadis' and saw Rio. He was in shock and so was I. "You have two traitors in your midst, Aslan."

"Their offence was not against you." Aslan said as Edmund's family looked scared.

"Well actually Hecta's offence was against both you and I." She said with a smirk on her face. "Have you forgotten the deep magic?"

"Do not cite the deep magic to me, witch! I was there when it was written." Aslan roared.

"Then you will know they belong to me." She said as she pointed to Edmund. "That boy and my sister will die on the stone table. As is tradition." She said with a smirk on her face mocking me as this was usually what our mother would order us to do with anyone who was labelled as a traitor.

"Try and take them." Peter said pointing his sword at Jadis. It wasn't the right time so I summoned a fiery rope with my magic wrapping it around his sword as I put it to the ground. I shook my head at him to tell him it wasn't the right thing to do.

"You think that a simple threat will deny me my right, little king?" She said mocking Peter. "Aslan knows that if I do not have blood as the law demands, all of Narnia will be overturned, and perish, in fire-" She said now pointing at me "-and water. You dare refuse me!"

"Jadis." I said turning the attention back on me. "There's no need to discuss this in front of everyone. Come." I said turning back ordering both Aslan and Jadis to follow me and they did. "Edmund isn't stepping foot on the stone table." I said once they both arrived.

"Like you can stop me." Jadis replied.

"What happened to you!? You never would have manipulated a boy and then trying to kill him for something you told him to do!" I shouted trying to get through to my sister.

"Then I guess I'm more like you than you thought!" She stated to try and upset me. "At least I never fake my own death and left the only person in the world who would ever love you!"

"I was in a coma! It might have been a 100 years for you Jadis but for me it was last week-"

"Enough!" Aslan roared causing us both to stop arguing. "How would you feel someone else in exchange for the Son of Adam?"

"Like who?" Jadis' questioned with a smirk on her face whilst I'm wondering why Aslan didn't care to exchange someone for me.

"I will go on the stone table in exchange for Edmunds life to be saved. " Aslan said. "And I know you wouldn't dare send your sister to the stone table with me as that is an unfair fight if you declare war. Your family would never have an unfair fight so are you gonna be the first to break that?"

"I accept your offer on one condition." She said as she turned to me. "You have to watch Aslan die right next to me so you know how it feels." Which made me nod in return. How am I on opposite sides to my sister. All three of us left the tent as Jadis made her way to her throne.

"She has denounced her claim on the Son of Adam and the Mistress Of Fire." Aslan announced using the name the Narnians gave me many years ago.

"How will I know your promise's will be kept." Jadis said making Aslan roar as my eyes started to glow red making her sit down on her throne and be carried away. The Narnians cheered and hugged each other happy with the decision but my heart was hurting. There would be a war and without Aslan it will be a bloodbath.
