Edmund

Peter and Caspian had led us out of the woods and towards their secret hideaway. There was clearly some tension between them on Peters behalf and I wasn't sure why. The whole walk back the Narnians have been speaking and making jokes with Hecta. It was refreshing to see how well the Narnians respected her for helping them. I couldn't help but watch her at all times. I knew I had to tell her how I feel but I just keep getting scared that she wont be feel the same.

We had finally made out way to the Narnian's camp. It was a tall green mountain with a entrance that was covered with Centaurs who held swords above our head as we walk through. One of the younger centaurs was struggling holding up his sword so Hecta went over to him and straightened it making me smile. When we got inside we saw Narnian's making swords ready for their battle.

It may not be what you are used to, but it is defensible." Caspian told us but Susan had walked off to a different passageway.

"Peter, you may want to see this." Susan said as we all made our way towards her and saw our story drawn on the walls all the way from Hecta betraying her parents to the destruction of Cair Paravel. I looked over to Hecta who was focused on the drawing of her and the White Witch when they were younger making me feel bad for her. She had lost so much and no way us leaving helped her.

"What is this place?" Lucy asked Caspian.

You do not know?" Caspian said as he began to lead us towards to another dark room. He placed his torch and suddenly the room lit up and we saw the Stone Table stood in all its glory with a picture of Aslan sculptured in the wall in front.

"He must know what he's doing." Lucy said.

"I think it's up to us now." Peter told her with a small smile but something caught Hecta's eye there was also a sculpture of her on the wall opposite Aslan. It was beautiful. She was beautiful. I looked over at her and just admired everyone emotion on her face until I felt someone else stare at me and saw Cat winking at me.

Peter had gathered up all the Narnian's and was going through his strategy of how to defeat Miraz. All the Narnians listened intently as this is probably what they had dreamed about their whole life.

"It's only a matter of time before Miraz's men and war machines are on their way." Peter explained. "That means those same men aren't protecting his castle."

"What do you propose we do, Sire?" Reepicheep asked.

"We-"

"Our-"

Both Caspian and Peter spoke at the same time causing an awkward silence to fall among us and made me grimace. I looked at my siblings, Cat and Hecta and saw we all had the same reaction.

"Our only hope is to strike them before they strike us." Peter said as I felt Hecta's body grow stiff and Caspian's eyes widen.

"But that's crazy, no one has ever taken that castle." Caspian said

"There's always a first time." Peter told him sternly.

"We'll have the element of surprise." Trumpkin said sticking with Peters side.

"But we have the advantage here." Caspian argued as Hecta hummed in argument as she sharped her knife.

"If we dig in, we could probably hold them off indefinitely." Susan said agreeing with Caspian.

"I, for one, feel safer underground." Trufflehunter stated with a smile making me smile.

"Look, I appreciate what you've done, but this isn't a fortress, it's a tomb." Peter said to Caspian glaring at him in the process.

"Yes, and if the Telmarines are smart, they'll just starve us out." I said agreeing with my brother.

"We could collect nuts!" A squirrel said.

"Oh yes, and throw them at the Telmarines! Shut up!" Reepicheep said glaring at the small animal. "I think you know where I stand on this, Sire." He said towards Peter as he looked at Hecta.

"Hecta? Any opinions?" Peter asked.

"Yes but you're not going to like it." She said as better still looked at her. "I think Caspian is right no one has ever entered the castle and come out to tell the tale. But it isn't my choice, its yours Peter I'm still your lead soldier no matter what."

"If I can get your troops in, can you handle the guards?" Peter said to Glenstorm, the centaur, knowing he is set on his plan.

"Or die trying, my liege." Glenstorm said proudly.

"That's what I'm worried about." Lucy said finally speaking up.

"Sorry?" Peter asked in confusion.

"Well, you're all acting like there are only two options: Dying here, or dying there." Lucy said which made Cat also agree.

"I'm not sure you've really been listening, Lu." Peter said.

"No, you're not listening!" Lucy shouted. "Or have you forgot the other person who stopped the White Witch." I saw Hecta look to the ground at this comment.

"I think we've waited for Aslan long enough." Peter said

"Susan and Caspian you will come with me whilst Hecta and Edmund and you go to one of the towers and give signal to the Narnians when the time is right. Then Hecta you make sure Edmund is safe and come join us three to help. Cat you stay here with Lucy just for protection incase they try to come." Peter explained as we all began to get ready for our battle.
