Edmund

Ever since we left Coriakin's Island I have been stuck to Hecta making sure she is okay. It was a lot to take in and I was furious with him for saying all of that in front of us all. It has been horrible weather since we had left making all of the crew become tired trying to fight the storm to stop us from sinking. Caspian and I have been helping them out when people get tired and trying to boost morale. I walked back into our room and saw Hecta sat at the bay window with a notebook in front of her.

"Hi." I said making her look up as I approached her. "What are you doing?" I said as I kissed her shoulder and saw a picture of me in her notebook. It was accurate it could easily be mistaken for a photograph.

"I was drawing you. I like to draw in weather like this. It just feels comforting." She said with a smile "Do you want to see the others I have drawn?"

"Of course I do?" I said as I sat next to her with my arms around her as she showed me her drawings. The majority were off me and others were off Lucy, Susan, Peter, Caspian and Cat.

"I'm going to give Caspian this one for his birthday, do you think he'll like it?" She asked me as I saw Caspian on his horse in the woods with a crown on his head.

"I think it will be the best present he receives from the whole of Narnia." I said as she looks up and smiles at me. She is the most gorgeous woman I have ever seen and I cannot imagine my life without her. At this thought, I bent down and kissed her. " I have something to tell you." I said as we broke apart. "I've been thinking about joining the army back in England to help end the war so my family can come back."

"Do you think that its right for you? Just because you have led wars here doesn't mean it will be a easy in your world." She said knowing exactly what I was thinking.

"No but I just feel useless not doing anything." I answered.

"You can never be useless Edmund Pevensie. No matter what. Sometimes things are just out our control." She said looking at me with her big brown eyes making me kiss her more passionately then before. My hands found her waist as I picked her up and carried her over to the bed.

Hecta

My dreams started the way they always did. Fight or die. As the executioner for my mother killing anyone who stands in her way. I always won. I went back over to her throne room only to find a man their instead. I was suddenly aware that I was dreaming but it didn't end. I stared back at the man who shared my bone structure knowing this time exactly who he was.

"I suspect you've been told about your true heritage." He said as he sat up straighter perched upon my mothers throne.

"What do you want?" I said keeping my face blank hoping my voice doesn't betray me.

"Is it so rude of me to talk to my daughter?" My father said inching closer to me until he stood directly in front of me.

"Considering that your only talking to me in my dreams or in my head when I'm hurt then yes." I said making him giggle.

"So much like your mother." He says making me flinch back. "I see you trying to stop the mist from damaging Narnia." I had no reply making him take it as a hint to carry on. "You cannot stop it, Hecta. It is your destiny. Once a world is out of place, we end it."

"What happens if I want my own destiny? Why can't I stop the storm since I have been told my deal had caused it?" I replied making him stroke my cheek.

"You won't be there to see the resolution." He said making a stabbing pain shoot me in the stomach. "All you wanted was to live your life and now you have a boy you care about deeply, dont let that go."

"Where are you actually?" I asked hoping to get an answer out of him.

"In another world trying to fix my mess much like my daughter except yours is hard to fix." He says with a sympathy on his face.

"How could care what I do to protect my kingdom! I don't even know you and neither do you know me. You might think you do but you don't. I am Queen of Narnia and I will find a way to fix this mess to stop harm coming towards my people." I said holding my head up making him smile which I didn't think could happen.

"That's my girl." He said as I woke up with a jolt to find Lucy, Caspian and Edmund staring at me. I could see horror on all of their faces which I didn't understand.

"What's going on?" I asked as Lucy spoke.

"The mist. That's what is affecting our dreams." She said as I saw tears willing in her eyes. I held my arms indicating her to hug me which she did.

"The closer we get to our next stop the sooner we can end it, I promise." I said to all of them to reassure them. The only thing I didn't want to tell them is that I know a way to end it but I can't do that to my family.
