Hecta

It had been a couple months since Edmund agreed to potentially marry Princess Alyssa and he has been gone for a week. Every time Alyssa gets brought up I roll my eyes due to the fact that she's a Telmarine but for some reason Cat just starts to smirk. Edmund was meant to be back hours ago and was all waiting for him to come back when a carriage pulled up outside the palace walls.

We all rushed over to see Edmund exit the carriage with a beautiful blonde girl on his arm. She was tall tanned and dressed in a gorgeous gown. The Pevensies rushed over to him and gave him a hug and introduced themselves to Alyssa. Cat and I stayed back and I could feel her eyes on me. Alyssa and Edmund made their way towards us and Edmund went to hug me but she pulled him back and shook her head.

"And you both are?" She said with a cocky tone and glared at us both.

"This is Peter's girlfriend Caterina and this is-"

"I'm Hecta." I said interrupting Edmund already not liking Alyssa.

"You know Hecta you should bow when royalty is in front of you." She said with a smirk making me raise an eyebrow at Edmund but he didn't say anything. "I'll let you off and you can make way back to your home."

"Actually Hecta lives here with us." Caterina said standing up for me.

"Oh, well I guess you better clean up before the engagement party this weekend." Alyssa said making all the Pevensies look at Edmund who eyes were on the ground. "Eddie carry my bags up to your room."

"I'm sorry Alyssa but Eddie needs to be with his family and friends for a short moment of time. Mr Tumnus will take you to your room." Peter announced as Mr Tumnus carried her bags. I prayed for Mr Tumnus because if I was alone with her I doubt she would survive.

"Ed come on." Susan said as we sat down in the meeting room with me guarding the door from an annoying party.

"What happened." Lucy asked

"I thought I was just going to get to know her but the Telmarines misunderstood and planned a whole engagement for me and gave me a ring for her. She said yes and then said they will come over for the engagement party in 2 days." Edmund explained still not looking at me.

"Why would they be so eager to marry you both?" Caterina asked clearly thinking this is sceptical.

"I mean you met her, no one else would even step near here. Good job she's pretty." I said making Susan, Lucy and Caterina laugh.

"Oh yes this is one big joke to you isn't it." Edmund snaps causing silence across the room. "I'm doing this for the sake of the Narnians and before you ask yes I've been told of what you did."

"You heard one side of the story, Ed." I tried to say to make him calm down.

"Really because you tried to drown Prince Matteo in front of everyone for no reason!" He shouted.

"Wrong! I didn't try to drown him because if I wanted to I could have he tried to steal my families spell book when he was in Narnia so I went over there to show them why they shouldn't steal. But if you believe them over me then dont speak to me Edmund." I said as I stormed off.

I began walking to my room when I saw that the door was open. I walked in to find Alyssa looking around my room.

"Looking for something." I said as I lean across my door frame to find her looking shell shocked.

"Was just looking around not like you have much." She said as she began to walk out until I stop her. "What do you think you're doing. Let me go this instance."

"As you wish princess." I said sarcastically. She knows I'm the Mistress Of Fire so how long before the rest of her stupid family will.
