I was sitting in the shared house me and obanai shared unfortunately he had gone on a mission while. sat at home i was reading a book that i was gifted for my birthday by one of my friends outside work i was half way through the book when i got a rushed knock at my door
i sighed and placed my book down putting something there to mark the page they were on they walked to the door and opened it to find one of the people who worked as an assistant
"how could i help you little one?"
"i-i-its Obanai-"
the poor kid didnt get to finish the sentence cause i ran out of the room as soon as he said that i rush into the butterfly estate and ran to his room to see him sitting there with his eyes closed and Kaburamaru saw me and sensed i was stress Kaburamaru wrapped itself around my leg nuzzling its head to my legs i soft smiled and picked Kaburamaru up and placed him on my shoulder Obanai opened his eyes and chuckled at me until he sae me glaring
"when will you fucking get it! this is not some stupid game! once you die your fucking dead got that you cant restart every time you fuck up ok i know our jog gets us injured a lot but seeing you in this fucking state hurts!! it hurts so damn much!" at this point i full on sobbing unable to control it Obanai got up ignoring the pain he was in and hugged me and whispered
"im sorry im so sorry ok bubs but please know i know what your feeling cause every time your hurt i get scared and i get so scared when you go onto mission in your state your already injured but we cant lose anymore people so you still going on mission i know bubs and i know its scary but im not leaving any time soon ok!"
he looked me in the eyes and said
"i still need to put a ring on your finger and make you officially mine"
with that he kissed me and hugged me after the kissed he placed his forehead on mine
"after i get out of here wanna go on a date?"
"only if its a cuddle date~"
he rolled his eyes
"of course my sweet i love you"
"i love you too snake boi"
"ok you just ruined the mood y/n"
"im sorry buts its a great nickname Kaburamaru agrees dont ya baby?"
Kaburamaru nuzzled his head into my cheek
"See I win~~"
"Why do I love you?"
I laughed and took him back over to the bed cause he was still hurt and sat on the chair next to it
