Chapter 30

Eren and Levi ran through the the halls following the guard that came to get them while the rest of the group followed closely behind the two. While Levi was confused and determined to protect Eren no matter what, Eren seemed to be excited yet terrified.

When they walked through the doors they were met with three pair of eyes. "Dad, Mikasa, Jean," Eren said happy running past Levi and the guard over to the three hugging them. Levi was skeptical and quick to growl when he saw the guy who he thought was Jean place a hand around Eren's waist. Even the omega himself was surprised at how comfortable he was when hugging his family and Jean.

He softly squealed when he fell Levi pull him back against his chest. Softly chuckling Eren pressed a quick kiss on his cheek. "You met Mikasa, and this is my father and my friend Jean," Eren introduced Levi to the two strange men. He softly nodded at both of them keeping Eren close to him.

"It's good to see you again Eren," Jean spoke in a hushed voice trying not to over step his boundaries with the dominant alpha that was in front of him holding Eren close. Arms around the boy in a protective manner.

"It's nice to meet the man who is with my son," the older man spoke in a cold monotone voice. "Sir, I'm sorry to do this but we need to ask you some questions if you would follow me here," Mikasa originally protested but when Eren told her to was okay the three followed Erwin and commander Pixis in silence. While Eren and Levi followed them as well.

"Levi... I don't feel so good," Eren softly spoke leaning against his alpha when he stopped walking. "I'm taking you to bed and I'm calling in a doctor," Levi said picking the boy up bridal style. Mikasa and the other two turned around and looked at Eren barely awake in Levi's arms. "Take them in for questioning I'll join later once Eren feels better," Levi ordered the guard before walking off. Hange and Historia followed the two with worry until they reached their room and Levi stopped them from coming in. "Levi we have had a feeling something was wrong with Eren for a while, so could you please let us in and check him out," Levi protested but after some explaining he let them in.

While Eren was soundly sleeping Hange drew some blood before leaving Levi and Eren alone knowing neither of them liked her being in their room. Levi quickly changed Eren out of his clothes knowing for the past couple of weeks he'd prefer to sleep without a shirt because of his sensitive chest.

Once he had undress Eren he quickly took his own clothes until he was left in nothing but his underwear and quickly got into bed. The omega subconsciously rolled over against Levi who smiled and wrapped his arms around him. "Sleep love, we'll find out what's wrong tomorrow," Levi watched Eren sleep seeing one hand resting on his stomach while the other wrapped around the alpha's waist.

Eren slowly opened his eyes expecting to be held by Levi but instead he woke up to an empty bed. He quickly jumped up and put on his robe before checking the bathroom and closet but no sign of his alpha. Quickly putting on a pair of pants, no shirt and his silk robe still on before he ran out of the room. As anxiety buildup inside him a rushed to the hall thinking they might have another meeting.

He opened the doors in a hurry but was met with an empty hall. Surely Eren was running out of places to look until he ran into Historia and Hange who both were smiling like they were mad. "Hange.... where's Levi I can't find him," Eren asked clearly panicking his breath uneven, his hair not even brushed the robe hanging half off his left shoulder. "Calm down, he's with your father, sister and Jean, he left not soon after we did some tests and we have very exciting news," Historia calmly explained placing her hands on Eren's shoulder while Hange was bouncing around behind her still smiling her cheeks red from the warmth.

"Levi... I need Levi first," Eren said his breath coming back to normal now that he knew he was at least safe. "I think you'd wanna know this first," Hange said with pure excitement in her voice.

"What is it," Eren asked a bit unsure seeing Hange was holding a piece of paper in her hand. "So me and Historia had a feeling something was up, you had an overly sensitive chest, slight mood swings, you became very clingy to Levi, you threw up a lot, and you're tired quickly so last night drew some blood for a test and our suspicions were right.... you're 9 weeks pregnant." Hange said in a more serious tone her face showing how excited she was.

"I-I'm 9 weeks.... I'm 9 ....preg .... pregnant," Eren stumbled back a bit looking at the floor while Historia and Hange looked at him their excited faces dropping. "I'm pregnant," Eren said calmly said his hands over his lower abdomen his thumb rubbing over the already slight bump. "Levi was right, I have gained weight, and I am already showing," Eren looked up at the two, a bright smile on his face and tears welling in his eyes. "I'm pregnant," he said under his breath again before Historia and Hange hugged him.

They immediately backed up when Eren growled and tensed up. "Sorry sorry, we forgot," Historia said pulling Hange with her. "What am I gonna do, how am I gonna tell Levi," Eren's head started filling with questions but instead of keeping them in he just started ranting. "Calm down Eren, it's okay, Levi will be so excited and we are here to help you, we're midwives this is our job," Hange calmly explained rubbing comforting circles on Eren's back. "I need Levi, could you...," Eren asked trailing off looking at Hange. "Of course we'll take you, your sister had been asking for you either way," Hange said smiling before leading Eren into the basement.

"Love, you're awake," Levi smiled at Eren knowing the omega was probably terrified when he woke up alone. "I'm sorry for leaving you," Levi whispered in the boys ear while hugging him. "Don't do that again, or at least leave a note, and I have some news tonight, maybe we could go to the blossom tree," Eren whispered back clinging to Levi's arm. The alpha frowned at him but decided to shrug it off for now. Levi gave him a quick kiss softly caressing Eren's cheek. "Are you feeling better," he asked letting his fingers intertwine with Eren's. The omega simply nodded still a bright smile on his face, staying close to his alpha.

"How are my father, Mikasa and Jean," Eren asked looking up at Levi who's face at returned back to the emotionless expression he rarely got to see. "They talked a little bit Mikasa and Jean both seem on edge, she demanded that her and Jean could talk to you alone, without Grisha and without any of us," Levi calmly explained. "Okay," Eren calmly said making Levi snap at him. "What no, I'm not letting you go in there alone," Eren flinched at the rather harsh tone Levi spoke in and slightly moved away from him placing a hand protectively over his lower abdomen.

"Sorry," Levi said under his breath reaching out for Eren who already had tears welling in his eyes. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, but you have to realize I am just as scared and shaken up with what happened as you," Levi wrapped his arms around Eren holding him close to his body rubbing soft circles on the boys back. "I know, but it's my family, I can handle them, I promise Mikasa would never let anything or anyone hurt me, she'd probably hurt herself before she'd hurt me," Eren joked giving Levi a quick peck on the cheeks. "Fine, 5 minutes that's all," Levi groaned not enjoying the thought of his mate being in a room without him with an unmated Alpha (Jean) definitely when Eren had been smelling even sweeter then normal, along with the fact he seemed a bit weaker.

Levi had gone over the rules with Eren a million times before he finally let go of his omega and let him go, and talk to Mikasa. Though it might seem like Eren was okay, he also wasn't comfortable leaving his alpha, or being around Mikasa and Jean when he was pregnant.
