Chapter 10

"Guys I'm home" Walking in the large home. Thomas throw his books on the couch before jumping on the love seat. He lyed on his back covering his eyes with his arm.

A sigh left his lips as he felt himself relax. Walking Charlie to the trail and home was a good few blocks (for giants) from where he lived. He use to live closer but due to possible sightings many homes were condemned and his family had to move to a new home to fit the big family. He enjoyed the time to talk, but was annoyed the whole time he was being teased about his new crush.

"Tommy!" Force hit his stomach as he groaned in pain. "Lily get off! Your heavy!" He whined trying to pry off the clenching six year old.

"No! Payback"

"Ugh! I just got home, bother mom"

"Mom is making fish for dinner so I can't'' The little girl pouted before burying her face in her brother's shirt.

"Where's Hayden?"

"Daddy's at work! And your not busy!Now your all mine!" She hugged tighter making Thomas lay his head back.

"I'm too tired for you. Is that enough?"

"Nope!" 

"Hello Thomas!" A voice rang through the kitchen as a dark haired woman walked out cleaning her hands.

"Hey Mom" Thomas yawned a bit laying on the brown couch.

"So Lily has been telling me you guys have been playing with Charlie again"

Thomas gave a narrowed look at his sister as she kept her face hidden away "Right"

Getting a laugh his mother came over sitting on the arm of the love seat and ruffled Thomas's hair. "I'm always happy when you two play tougher"

"Does that mean Charlie can come over sometime?" Lily lifted her head smiling.

"No''
"Yes"

Both spoke in unison making his mother look confused.

"Well Charlie...can't. Remember Lily he has to stay in the forest" He gave her a knowing look.

"Oh....yeah nevermind" Lily dropped her look.

Anna looking at her two kids noticing the sad expression on Lily. "If Charlie is code for candy or sugary soda you two are going to the dentist" Anna stood.

Lily lit up instantly. "Candy? You think Charlie has candy?"

"He better not, or you will be seeing Dr.Green again" Anna walked past the loveseat back in the kitchen.

Lily cover her mouth as she was moved off a bit so Thomas could sit up. "What did I say earlier?"

The six year old blinked. "Charlie has to stay in the forest"

He shook his head. "No"

"Dad will get mad if I tell on you?"

"No! No about Charlie. He is just an imaginary friend got it?"

"But I wanna have him over so I can show him my stuff" She moved a bit more on his torso.

"You will maybe when mom and dad are working but not right now ok?"

"Ok" A sad expression came on her face again before the sound of the door unlocking made her jump up like a puppy. "Daddy's home!"

''Ugh! Lily get off my stomach!"
