"Alright stay quiet while I talk to my coworker" Without warning he cupped his hand over her causing her to fall back.

"Sorry" He flinched.

Hearing a muffled 'i'm fine' he turned heading back to the open area where Eve was snacking on a few mixed nuts. Peeking toward him she gave a half smile. "Thomas what took you so long?"

''I well...found my phone. And a....wolf cub! But it appears to be injured I just need get it to medical" A nervous smile spread on his face. 

Giving a nod she turned her head back to her homework. "Just don't forget to put it in the record so they don't think you just ditched" Chewing some more almonds she flipped a few pages in her notes not paying too much attention.

"Understood be back soon" Giving a kiss on the cheek he hurried off getting a peek at the blushing brunette before jogging towards home.

Sitting in the closed hands Jessie slipped her hands between his fingers to get a hold of his middle finger. It was similar to riding a subway with the bumpy surface.

Reacting the front door Thomas panted a bit before moving his upper hand only to hear Jessie scream as she was still clenching to it. "Wait! Don't drop me!"

"Couldn't even if I wanted to Charlie would literally kill me" setting a hand below her she let go falling on the soft surface.

"Alright stay quiet" Lifting his hand by his chest he allowed Jessie to slide in a chest pocket of his jean jacket before opening his door.

Peeking around the house he walked in not seeing ether parent in the house. "Perfect they aren't here" Walking toward his room.

"Sorry this place is a mess but not to worry everything is on the floor anyway" Setting her down next to a stack of books Jessie flinched at the height alone.

"Theses are big enough to crush my car" looking back at the massive teenager as he knelt down a glaring look came on her face. "Why are you even real? Giants are in fairy tails and movies. And more importantly why are you being so nice? One step and I'm a stain on your carpet"

"There aren't that many giants we are only in the thousands. Humans haven't heard of us because our team of scouts stop any kind of human or giant interacts." And looking her over he turns his head to his bedroom door.

"Still doesn't explain why you are so nice and are friends with Charlie."

He helped me out of a bind when I was younger I owe him. Besides human blood is hard to get out of carpet" Turning his head back he gave a joking look catching her off guard.

''Yeah your just the kind of person Charlie be hanging out with'' setting her hand on her hip she pulled back her hair. "So...when can I leave?"

"After our shif...wait no if the next shift caught me there after curfew, I be questioned"

"Curfew?" Jessie blinked

Turning himself to her again he explained. "Giants are strictly under curfew besides overnighters. No giant, except saturn works or higher ups can pass the perimeter. If giants just walked around at night they could cause panic to humans and with us being the minority we have to keep from a war of humans."

Rasing her eye brows a cocky smile came on her face. "Huh...so you guys are scared of us?"

"No we are scared of nukes and tanks. We're not invincible" He shook his head.

Looking again at the size comparisons to the massive room her mind felt close to being in a dream. Nothing made sense to her as she felt like she was in another body.

"I got it" Thomas sat up. The fast movement catching Jessie off guard as her instincts made her almost jump back. Luckily not being noticed by the giant.  "I lost my phone earlier because of us patrolling. I can use that excuse again. I can 'look' and I get you home."
