Chapter 25

Like lighting her hand moved throwd Charlie as he jumped away grabbing a log that held up to a near by cave. instead making her drop it. 

Charlie took his chance running over fallen tree trunks into the cave making it to the end wiping away old comb webs and spiders. Hitting against the wall, he quickly wiped away his sweat.

The giantess growled as she move the logs like sticks and reached in.

Her large hand reached moving quickly toward Charlie but stopped just quarter away from him.

Charlie could only watch in horror as her long sharp nails almost clawed to reach him. Her frustrated growls shook the cave as she cursed outside.

Charlie held himself back. His scared expression clear on her long nails.

He began patting himself getting his cellphone. He speed dialed Thomas staying against the cold cave wall.

"Tommy! Tommy wake up!" Lily jumped on the bed.

"Ugh! Why? Get off me!" Tommy spoke in a rough tone in his pillow making his sister narrow her eyes. "Your late!"

"No...I'm not seeing Evelyn until noon, go away" Thomas buried his face as his sister kept hitting his back.

"Not her Charlie!" Lily barked

"I'm not seeing Charlie today....he's at home"

"Nu uh! I saw him and he wants to study!"

Eyes widen as Thomas looked at the clock on his wall. Nine fifteen...Her shift starts at eight. "When?" Thomas lifted his head. His face now turning pale looking to his younger sibling.  

"Five minutes ago" Lily crossed her arms. Puffing out her cheeks like she has seen her mother do multiple times.  

"Lily get off I gotta go" He sat up making her fall on the side of the bed. 

He got out of bed grabbing nearby jeans shoving them on. "Stay here! Don't follow me" Thomas snapped as he darted out of his room. Running outside he ran his way toward the berry farm.

His phone vibrated as he pulled it out and answered.

"Charlie! Are you ok?"

"Your girlfriend is trying to kill me!"

"Calm down! I'm on my way" Thomas headed toward the berry ranch.
