"Nah! Let me go Tommy" The young giant protested making the trees shake as she struggled in his grasps.

Having no affect she whined and gave in making the bigger giant let go.

"I'm telling dad you grabbed me and hurt my wrist."

"Tell him. I'll tell him you weren't reading and was just playing in the woods. BY YOURSELF" Thomas narrowed his eyes as his little sister began to process what she did.

"No, no don't tell! Please I was with Charlie I swear!"

"You know Hayden thinks that's your imaginary friend and that better not change. Now go home" Thomas pointed making the girl cross her arms before looking at Charlie for support puckering out her lips.

"Hey he's the biggest he makes the rules not me"

"But your older" Lily whined looking between the two older boys.

"Sorry Lil" Charlie shrugged now fully facing them.

Dropping her arms she kicked the grass before storming off leaving a big hole in the dirt the size of a kiddie pool.

"I was actually half joking when I said I heard BIG footsteps..." Charlie laughed awkwardly. "You are getting a little too good at sneaking up"

A smile spread as the sixteen year old leaned back against a tree. Moving his legs up as he set his arm on his knee.

"I have to you know how much trouble I be in if I got caught?" He peeked over to see his sister heading home. "We may need an new meeting spot. I don't want Lily getting this close to the human side."

"She's just messing around. Andrew and Abby are like that too. I'm surprised they haven't followed me in here yet" Charlie looked back to his Camera and continued scrolling.

"What be better as a cover? A bird...flowers or um...bear"

Thomas almost answered before the last one caught him by surprise. "Wait you got a bear? When?"

"I...last thursday after school..." Charlie gave a nervous expression making his friend think back.

"Thursday...you mean my study day? The day when I can't help you in case something tries to eat or step on you day?"

Charlie lowered his camera "Yes but only because my report is coming and I noticed it from a distance besides, humans can take pictures of bears."

"I don't care a giant could see you. Bears aren't just at the edge near the trail you went deeper in the forest."

"Ok! Ok! I get it but everytime 'We' go tougher I never see any giants. I'm sure they are all at home by the time I come" He looked at his camera again getting a nasty look from Thomas.

"Keep that up. You know you were almost caught twice and I had to save  your sorry ass."

"Yeah as kids. Calm down, you sound like my mom when you talk like that."

The two shared an awkward silence as Thomas looked toward a random direction.

After a few minutes he shifted his shoulders and leaned down a bit. "Hey Charlie"

Feeling the large shadow cast over him Charlie looked up as the giant looked to him with a bored expression.

"Wanna go see my school?"
