Chapter 28

"Harry!"

"Sounds like someone calling your name"

"Harry!"

"Your wife is outside! Looking for you"

Charlie glared at the small flat screen reaching for the remote turning down the volume.

"You picked this movie?"

"Yes! And stop turning it down this is the best part" Jessie took the remote turning it up.

"Yes the 50 ft woman is a very relaxing movie to do homework to" Charlie wrote in his journal as he tried to figure out an algebra two question.

"You said you liked monster movies" Jessie chewed her gum quickly correcting one of his answers.

The couple sat across from each other on the messy couch. Jessie sat crossed legged as Charlie sat on one of his legs and the other hung over the edge.

"Giants are just annoying to me right now. Turn on a kids movie or something" Charlie peeked to see the giant hand on screen.

"This is my one day off and your bossing me around" Jumping off the couch she walked to the DVD player and took it out. Her pink hair was in a messy bun as she walked around in her grey tank and basketball shorts.

"Look I didn't mean it. Mom and Dad are just stressing me out with my grades. I know they mean well but god if she doesn't stop stressing me over this exam I'm gonna snap!" Charlie lowered his arms. His eyes looked more worn out as he started to scribble on his notebook.

"Look I know your mom is a bit tough but your not there right now" Jessie walked over moving behind him rubbing behind his neck.

"You will get there" She hugged around his neck. "You wanna take a break?" She kissed his ear softly "We can cuddle and get your mind off this" Her brown eyes look into his blue ones as she softly kissed his cheek again.

"I...I love the offer. But I have to finish this seriously. You know my test is soon for the semester" He moved away.

Her hands leave as she gave a confused and sad look before she moved around. Sitting against infront of him as she began to help him finish.
