A huge smile spread as he congratulated her. His joy soon faded as soon as he realized the reason he was getting it in the first place.

"I should have know it was you. You said your dad was a scouter and animals go over there all the time" His date hugged the sketch book as her dimpled smile returned.

"When do you start?" Thomas quickly asked trying to act as excited as he was minutes ago.

''Tommorow! It will be a full shift but you mostly sit and relax the whole time. If you want I can give you a tour" Her eyes were wide as she had so much hope for a yes. It was clear she was head over heels for Thomas. Given their similar interests and being friends for several months before he actually asked her out. She was just begging to get to know him better and see what else he was interested in.

"I...Yes! Yes a tour be amazing" His eyes lowered. Evelyn frowning at the notice of his gravelly voice.

"If you don't want to, its ok.."

He instantly notice her sad expression taking one of her hands he wrapped it in both of his. "I do! I want to go. I just had a friend who asked to study this weekend but you know what?" He gave her a genuine smile "It can be sunday"

Red spread over her face as she wrapped her arms around him. "Thank you" He hugged back with one arm using the other to pull out his phone.

"Let me just text him"

"Ok" The bruntee backed away as she look back at his sketch book.

Pulling up his number he typed in quickly.
