Chapter 14

"Thomas! Hey" The brunte walked over as she sat herself infront of the two. She set her bag down as Lily moved next to her. "Your hair is so pretty!"

"Aww thank you" Evelyn smiled as she looked back at Thomas who was trying to act normal. "So...about our date this friday. Were you wanting to dress casual? Or formal? I'm not really use to outdoor dates" She bit her lip as her fingers rubbed her ear.

"I...what...whatever you want to do" He lowered his head.

"Tommy! Show her Charlie!" Lily crawled over taking his free arm.

"What no! I can't he's your imaginary friend remember?"

"Charlie? Oh what a cute name. Did you come up with it?" She looked to Lily smiling down.

"No he's here. Tommy show him" She held his arm.

Getting a confused look Thomas sighed before showing his other hand.

"Here he is"

Evelyn cover her mouth. She couldn't hold back her laugher as Thomas had a finger puppet. "My name is Charlie and i'm Lily's best friend" He said in a goofy voice.

"My finger puppet!" The six year old instantly forgot her motives as she crawled over his lap to get the puppet.

Grabbing it she ran off not too far to play with it.

Charlie held on for dear life on the back of Thomas' shirt. He used the flap of fabric to hold himself as he is feet held against the giant's back. 

"That was great" Evelyn calmed down. "Oh and by the way. I heard you were interested in deers right?"

Thomas gave a confused look but nodded. "Yeah"

'"Not to be a stalker!" Evelyn raised a hand. "I just want you to see some new gloves I ordered it's for plants and animals" She pulled her backpack over and got out a small box.

"Theirs a whole outfit too but this is for starters" She lifted the top showing black and brown gloves. They were thick like leather as she put one on.

She twisted it infront of him as he looked with interest smiling as he took her arm looking it over. "It's from the new scouters company right? Saturns? This is so cool."

With a nod she pointed with her free hand. "See the black is for a soft touch when handling animals and works great against poison ivy" and the black leather helps to stop bear bites and possible stabbings from humans."

"How is it on antlers?"

"Works magic they could probably rub their head against it it they need to sharpen them" She joked before the two met eyes.

''Bu...t like I was saying earlier...I love to use theses on our date. So casual or formal?"

"Casual" Thomas let go as Evelyn gave a dimpled smile taking off the glove.

She was about to get up but quickly moved over and planted a kiss on his cheek. "See you friday" She backed away holding her bag and hurried down the hill.

"Oh god!" Charlie crawled his way up prying to get on his friend's shoulder as he took deep breathes.

"Is that not the most amazing and beautiful girl you have seen in the whole galazy...and space" His words began to mumble as he looked dazed over. A big silly smile spread on his face.

"Their right, love makes people stupid" Charlie shook his head.
