Dropping on his bed a soft hum left his mouth as Thomas happily thought about Evelyn.
She had planned their next date in his head. His new drawing books lyed on his nightstand as he looked to his clock.
"Mmm nine...well if Charlie didn't call by now, he should by morning" He mumbled. His face buried in a pillow as he drifted off.
Parking his car, Charlie looking at the time. "Ok nine is enough time for a lazy giant teenager to get outta bed."
He dragged his backpack from the passenger side before getting out locking the car, noticing the parking lot was already kind of full.
Scanning the area he relaxed knowing the friendly stranger was no where around. He mention kids but he never saw anyone expect the guy himself. Adjusting his backpack he headed toward the trail.
"I can't believe Jessie! Just calling Tom like that.' He bit his nail. It wasn't serious but the more they talked the more Jessie want to meet him.
He told her it would be on Thomas' birthday but now he had to make an excuse.
Walking toward the trail he heard his name turning toward the man he met a few days ago.
"Damn it" Charlie muttered "Hi, Mark right?" He waved back clearly not interested.
"Your a trooper making it all the way back here you must have strong calves" The older male stepped up the halfway up the grassy hill toward the trail. Wearing a red polo shirt and carmel shorts.
"Its a hobbies" Charlie shrugged. His eyes drifted to Mark's outfit as a gold wedding ring caught his attention.
Meeting his view a soft chuckle left as he held up the ring. "Married for ten years. Wife is always trying to make us have family time. Of course the kids wonder off a lot. If you see a thirteen year old or seven year old running around tell them to head to the cabin."
Charlie nodded before noticing the man looking off in the distance. A hard look slipping through before his brown eyes grew tired looking back. "You know we got reports of more tagging on trees. While your walking maybe you can take some pictures of any people doing it"
"Yeah...sure will" Charlie nodded turning himself jogging up to reach the trail. Peeking back he noticed Mark still watching.
"What is with this guy?"
He continued on his way moving a few more feet before getting in the forest area. He looked behind himself concerned. But with no one around he continued on his way.
His eyes fell as he began to dig in his bag. "Red...where are you red" He dug in seeing as his maps were marked with a strip of tape to tell which is which.
Pulling it out he stopped and opened it. He smiled as he was closer than he thought heading toward the meeting place.
Seeing it ahead he smiled stopping surprised not to seeing the dark haired giant.
"Huh where is..." The ground shaking made him smile. "Oh cool he's just late"
Walking toward the opening he stopped. He pulled out his phone looking at the time before a sudden shadow casted over.
