The Rowe Coven

Powers:               

1. Greg Rowe 

i.  supernatural strength  —   stronger than the average, normal mortal man

ii. pyrokinesis  —   able to manipulate fire

2. Paul Rowe 

i. forcefield projection  —  able to create impenetrable barriers made of magical energy  

Details:               Since the 12th Century, every generation of the Rowe family have grown stronger, culminating in the arrival of The Rowe Coven — three brothers who would become the most powerful force of evil the world had ever seen. 

There was no known weapon or spell that could stop them. 

Ultimately, The Rowe Coven was the dark counterpart to the Halliwell sisters; The Evil Charmed Ones. When the two covens engaged in battle, the warlocks were able to neutralise the witches' powers, leading to a standoff. 

However, it was not determined whether The Rowe Coven had a collective power such as The Power of Three or not. 

Greg was the eldest of the Rowe brothers, and the most hot-tempered. He relished his warlock nature and though he was the most powerful, he still sought absolute power. 

He was violent, calculating and brash. 

Greg was the leader who made the major decisions, and he had an aggressive relationship with both of his brothers, resorting to violence whenever they failed to obey his orders. 

Paul had learnt to placate him whereas Brendan opted to provoke him instead. 

Paul was the middle brother who exhibited a balance of evil warlock tendencies with a supportive, nurturing side. He was diplomatic, smart and calm. 

When it came to his brothers, Paul seemed very accustomed to Greg's hotheadedness; able to soothe his rages with logic and reason. 

Paul was shown to have a soft spot for his younger half-brother, Brendan, and tried asking in earnest for Brendan to join them, as opposed to Greg's forceful approach. 

Though Paul stood by and did not intervene whenever Greg and Brendan scrapped, he did stand up to Greg when the latter threatened to kill Brendan if he didn't join them, with Paul assuring Greg that he would not let that happen. 

Paul gave Brendan several chances to come back to their fold even after it was clear that Brendan had chosen the side of good. 

Paul was so protective of his little brother that when Greg made to kill Brendan, Paul leapt into the path of the athame and was killed instead. 

Brendan was the last born Rowe brother, however he was not a full-blooded warlock like Greg and Paul, having a mortal mother who raised him away from dark magic. Brendan was a nice guy, a church volunteer that was great with kids and animals, even spiders. 

He was handsome, kind and honourable, though also impulsive and rash at times. 

He shared these traits with Greg and therefore, they had quite a tumultuous relationship. 

Greg would resort to physical violence whenever Brendan didn't comply and Brendan was always ready to provoke his eldest brother, certain to remind Greg that he was not afraid of him.

In stark contrast, Brendan was shown to have a decent, respectful relationship with Paul, though he was still willing to kill Paul, even though he knew Paul had not wronged him in any way.

The Rowe Coven failed to fulfil their evil destiny as Greg and Paul were unable to convince Brendan to join them and give in to his warlock side. 

They had tried reasoning with him, then used the temptation of innocent bloodshed before finally placing him under a dark magic spell, which Brendan was able to break with Prue's help. None of it worked. 

In the end, Greg and Paul killed each other and Brendan went on to become a Catholic priest. The Rowe Coven and all that dark power was lost forever.
